“Loved it!”
+Great choice of cooked breakfast but almost to much for a working morning. The quality of the pastries was different between the two mornings, with the items being tiny on the second morning. Some kombucha or similar would have been an added bonus and a choice from the fruit juices.
−The use of the ipad for taking names and orders meant that the waiter was largely making no eye contact. It was quiter on the second morning and so the pad was not being used and conversations flowed as a result.

“An exceptional hotel with excellent staff”
+The breakfast was amazing and the portion size was just enough. Customer service was top notch. The attention to detail on all aspects of our stay was exceptional. Loads of spaces for our morning walk.

+This review is a little late - sorry! We stayed at Crathorne for a wedding. A big thank you to all the staff for making it an amazing occasion. All the staff worked so hard during our stay. Amazing. A lovely hall with so much character - pure tranquility away from the worries of the wirld.

“A stunning location with a beautiful breakfast”
+Breakfast here is delightful and beds are comfortable and location stunning
−Sadly with lot's of older hotels noise carry's when people are walking on floor above or hotel door rooms slam.

“A stylish and restful quality country house hotel, it has feared the peace and comfort we sought.”
+Fresh and refurbished room with a lovely view from the window of the countryside. Brilliant bathroom with lots of towels, very comfortable bed, super bedding, and perfect purpose-designed lights for reading in bed. A very quiet location despite the proximity of the A19, and the hotel itself had a careful charm, and very welcoming staff. Ate one evening and enjoyed the bar meal range, but didn’t breakfast, partly because it was an additional £25 per person.
−Could have preferred an all-in more generous breakfast quote, as we have enjoyed elsewhere on this tour.
