„Very enjoyable“
+The evening meals, the location close to Whalley and Clliheroe, the suite, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
−Given the amount we paid, we thought there would be dressing gowns and slippers in the bedroom

„Lovely place but not so great for sleeping“
+The location, the beautiful building, the breakfast. The friendly breakfast service
−The lack of staff anywhere near the desk at both check in and check out. They seemed more concerned about socialising at the bar area. The room could have done with some pile lorry in the carpet. The half 4 wake up call that you would get from any of the front facing rooms as the bin men arrived then again at half 7.

„Very, welcoming. All staff were very friendly. Food and drinks were spot on. Definitely will be returning. Thank you !!“
+Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting. Loved the history of the building that is so very obvious and visual in all of its surroundings. It is very successful in mixing old with new too
−I can honestly say that there was nothing about the property I disliked. Full marks across the board for me
