„Worth every penny! Practically in the Piazza del Duomo“
+The whole experience was great. Ignore the reviews about being dirty or smelling. They are old. The hotel apparently went through a remodel a few years back and it is fantastic. Everybody there was super sweet and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. They kindly included things from multiple regions/countries to give people a taste of home. We were on the third floor. I paid a mid-price rate and it was very sufficient. Large closet, full bathroom, plenty of hot water. It is literally 500 feet from Santa Maria del Fiore, which was amazing. This is right in the middle of the best of Florence. I was amazed at how quiet it was. I do use earplugs when traveling so I am less bothered than most. I believe they had more expensive larger suites on the top floor, but we were more than happy with our room and large queen bed. Yes, you had to put the kettle on the nightstand to heat the water. So what? You are in an old, old city center. 15 minute walks to museums and amazing sights.
−I guess another outlet on the desk area for the kettle would be better. But pluggin it onto the nightstand was not a big deal. And we found EVERYWHERE wanted the tourist tax paid in cash. Just plan ahead and bring your 6 euros a day. It is not a big deal

„Tutto puzzava di umido.“
+La gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale.
−Era tutto molto vecchio, non funzionava niente…… la TV non funzionate, idem il wifi, la porta del bagno in camera strusciava a terra e non era possibile chiuderla.

„Visita a Firenze“

„Great value given all the positives mentioned above.“
+Very helpful and friendly staff. Bountiful breakfast that was unusually good. Superb location in the city center.
−Room size was small, but understandable given an older building in an older city center.

„Great location in the heart of Florence“
+Great location in Florence. The staff were friendly. Laura, the hotel receptionists offered us many suggestions on what to see. She also provided us with an excellent recommendation where to dine. Wish we had more time.

+The staff are amazing. So helpful, professional, and kind. The location is perfect.
−Its an old building, so don't expect huge rooms and gleaming modern fixtures. But that's not a fault; it was charming. Just a little reminder to people.
