+A dirty hotel with no internet, filthy, no room service, noisy, and the stairs are disgusting. I do not recommend it to anyone. I have already filed a complaint and no one has contacted me.

+It was an unusual stay. The hotel is in a beautiful old building under renovation. I had to change rooms because of some problems in the first one, but the receptionist was very helpful. I stayed in a huge room with a great view. It will certainly be a great hotel when it's finished.
−It was very difficult to find the entrance; I had to pay a young man to take me to the correct entrance and to carry my luggage because, due to the construction, there was no elevator available.

−The shared bathroom has broken locks and door handles. There is no way to lock the door from the inside.

+You get what you pay for and this property is cheap, BUT if you've never experienced downtown Cairo its in a great spot (once you find it). 3rd floor in the alley behind Krispy Kreme/KFC/pizzaHut. The night guy Gabriel is awesome. Dont expect a luxury resort for $20, but it had COLD AC, Drinkies is down the road for beer and they let us store it in the staff fridge. The buildings like 500 years old.
