„Blah“
−More a motel than a hotel. Too expensive for the amenities

„Very convenient and secure stay with car“
+Spotlessly clean, super helpful and friendly staff, flawless valet service and secure car park, and many amenities. Great roof top!
−Stayed here during Berkeley move-in week. Was a bit pricey but comparable to other properties in the area.

„I would absolutely stay here again. Its about 1/2 mile walk from major restaurants.“
+staff was welcoming and attentive. the for a best western the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. It was a positive to have an enclosed garage for our car. Last time we were in berkeley our car was broken into by homeless.
−Everything was fine.

„Clean hotel but district not nice“
+The room was clean. The general manager canceled a night for me because my flight was delayed, really appreciate. I didn’t try them but there are bikes at your disposal. There are two buses (52 and 51B) going through the hotel location, very convenient.
−The district is quite weird. I stayed 6 days and there are weird people night and day in the neighbourhood. Also, the main avenue is very noisy until 10pm. This is OK, it’s not like people screaming, just cars. Main problem was that I had no internet for one week (!!!). The General Manager warned me and was sorry. For sure it will be fixed soon. But that was really not nice.

−The cleaners started before 8 am on Sunday morning. Modest accommodation for the price.

„Great hotel.“
+Small hotel with perfectly appointed rooms. Great common spaces including rooftop terrace. Great location. Helpful staff. Have stayed in several hotels in the area. This is my favorite and I will be back.

„Great room. Comfortable stay. Nice accommodations“
+The rooms are clean and spacious. Like the food and coffee you can order. The valet service was super handy and fast. Staff were responsive and kind. Location is super convenient to all parts of Berkeley and Bart line. And the roof top deck was amazing!
−Neighborhood is a little rough- 7-11 across the street was busy with foot traffic and a few people experiencing homelessness sleeping in doorways. So I wasn’t as comfortable walking around to explore the neighborhood. No grab bars in the shower.
