+Negative emotions from communication with the receptionist made me not notice the positive moments.
−The receptionist ignored my requests to provide the receipt after collecting the payment. When I insisted he pretended that he was trying to make for over 1 hour, and still didn't give me any, telling me that they have problems with the internet.

“Awesome tranquil facility. I will be back soon”
+Very nice well kept lodge. Good standards. Very friendly staff. Rooms are great. Housekeeping good. Food good
−Advertises a spa but not yet operational. No coffee station in the rooms. Aircon was very loud and had to be switched off to be able to sleep

“Wrong or Uninformed billing policy”
+Customer Service was very good. Good and clean bathroom. Great Ambiance. Room service was okay
−I was over billed by 15% of the total Comfirmation amount even after explaining and showing the staff who confirmed with the owner my booking confirmation and amount. I was told it's policy to charge 15% to all guests that use booking.com for their bookings. I have not experienced this anywhere else before.

“A great lodge in a pleasant location”
+The rooms were great and equipped with everything we needed, the grounds were peaceful and well kept. Even though it is just 5 minutes from the city it was very quiet. The staff were happy to help with anything and offered to take us on a small nature walk around the lodge grounds and farm. I’d definitely recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to/ through Hoima.

“Exceptional”
+Excellent. Sparkling clean and comfortable place to stay during business trips in hoima. Far superior to other hotels in the center of town. Electronic safe, hot water, decent water pressure, mirrors, well functioning AC.
−Food took a bit long to serve. The outdoor restaurant seating area is a bit small.
