+We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese atmosphere of Yoshiike Ryokan, particularly the beautiful gardens, comfortable accommodations, and wonderfully prepared meals. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing in the outdoor onsen at sunrise while it was raining. It was a memorable experience and a wonderful introduction to a traditional Japanese ryokan.

+Amazing onsen experience. True natural hot springs. The gardens were gorgeous especially at night.
−Food was very disappointing especially for the price. Stayed at several ryokans during our trip and this was by far the lowest quality in terms of taste and experience.

+Absolutely stunning gardens, choice of different hot pools and very central to the station. Very generous rooms (we had a tatami room).
−We didn’t manage to get a restaurant booking - they get booked up quickly- but there are good other places in the area.

+Absolutely beautiful room and property, the in room and public onsens were both amazing. The dinner and breakfast were also quite adventurous and fun for us.
−My only complaint was that the heat in our room was set to 24C (about 75F) and they did not have the AC active which meant we had no real way to cool our room off even after turning off the heat. This made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. I’ve come to realize that Japanese people tend to like places much warmer than I do.

−The food looked amazing but we struggled with the set menu as we didn’t really understand what we were eating. It would be easier if there was a translation of the menu
