10.0“Lovely staff, lovely place”
+The staff is one of the kindest I’ve met. All the written communication was done in Dutch, even though I didn’t even ask for that. One of them carries a translator that can be used for easy communication. Breakfast was delicious and well explained. It’s a lovely traditional ryokan experience

10.0“Welcoming and authentic!”
+The hosts are probably the kindest staff I have met so far in Japan, and everyone I have met so far were very nice! I didn’t realize when I booked, but we had a Japanese Breakfast included and it was delicious, they told us to eat what we wanted and not to feel bad if we didn’t eat all of it.

10.0“Our stay was short, but the staff made us feel welcome, comfortable and at home. This was worth every penny to stay, eve”
+Absolutely everything. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The location was very central and an easy walk to everything. The onsen in the ryokan was so warm and comforting and it was nice to be able to soak with each other versus being separated by gender.
−Nothing. Everything was amazing.

10.0“Nice traditional Japanese Ryokan and experience”
+Nice ryokan in the centre of Kinosaki i walking distance from the train station and where the Onsen are located. Great traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and polity staff which guides you are make you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend if you are open to a real cultural Japanse experience and not the traditional business hotels you often visite.

9.0“The most amazing hospitality we've ever experienced!”
+The amazing staff were so friendly & went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed & ensure we enjoyed our stay. They were so helpful with recommendations and greeted us on check in so warmly, with tea and a sweet treat, as well as helpful information about how to experience the onsens and how to tie a Yukata correctly. They gave us absolutely lovely origami gifts on departure, such a thoughtful touch. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

10.0“Wonderful staff - So kind and helpful”
+Staff were incredibly warm, kind, and helpful. The building itself is a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. We paid separately at check in for breakfast and the sweet granny that works there made us a simple, yet beautiful meal.
−It was great all around

10.0“The best ryokan we experienced in Japan”
+This is the best guest house / ryokan that we experienced in Japan. The hosts are so kind, nice and dedicated to our comfort, we loved it. When we left, they gave us a small origami they had done for us. They took pictures for us... Really exceptional, we highly recommend!
−Nothing at all

9.0“Will most likely stay here again if I was to visit Kinosakionsen!”
+Absolutely perfect location close to the Kinosakeonsen Station, close to all the onsens, surrounded by great places to eat and shop - just couldn't be better. The hosts Yushihero-san and Yuki-san were the definition of hospitality - super helpful and wonderful people! The variety and quality of the breakfast and dinner served was second to none.

10.0“Amazing hosts, cute traditional stay”
+The family running it are the sweetest. You can use the public onsens around the town before check in time, they will give you the towels etc. Breakfast is included and it’s traditionally Japanese (not for picky eaters!). Their private onsen is small but functional, you just lock it from the inside and stay as much as you want. Aircon in every room.
−There was not a shower/bath in our room, though we didn’t need it as all the public onsens provide one. They can only keep your luggage after check out until 11:00. No option for traditional dinner.
