10.0“Comfortable stay in a fantastic area”
+Excellent goshiwon! To have a room in Korea with a private bathroom in a beautiful, fun, active area and close to the river path and train station for this price is a very wonderful thing. I recommend getting to know Bundang along the various streams from here. A Kakao T bike subscription is great for going in the Shin-Bundang direction towards the new Suji mall and beyond and also north towards the department stores in Seohyeon and the Moran markets and of course everything along the way. I feel like this place has mixed ratings because people are trying to keep a secret, and there’s a ridiculous review from earlier this year by a guy that I can assure you was very weird. I stayed for months. It’s a standard goshiwon in a location that puts it in its own category for me.

1.0“Emotionally traumatizing and painful stay....with confusing and "awkward" encounters”
+It's in a building with a medical clinic, a gym and pharmacy and a lot of processed ("fooderies"). Negative side: There are cameras everywhere.....no privacy--absolute invasion of privacy. The owner always keeps screaming to put your shoes in the dirty shoe box. The shoe boxes are so dirty and filthy. It smells taking my shoes out after an overnight suffocation of shoes in a deadly shoebox of neurotoxin smells. It looks like the shoes haven't been cleaned in over a year or so.. The staff was always angry and upset or yelling about something. I couldn't understand it. It was scary and terrifying. p.s. The nightmare explanations continue...
−In the year 2025, July 9t,.... Words alone cannot explain the experience that I encountered while here. But overall, it was "a" shockingly bizarre, bewildering life experience of what korea or seoul culture was about. I never thought in my wildest imagination Korean rental and social culture was in such ways. it was shockingly terrifying. In the morning there is a lot of commotion due to foot traffic because this hostel is in a commercial-like building. By around 10am--- there is a lot of foot pounding from the gym upstairs and kids play ground of some sort. There will be no piece and quiet in the mornings as the entire building is a commercial building. The walls are thin. The ventilation system is almost non-existant in most rooms, except for maybe some "fans" in some rooms. I heard a lot of other Korean local Koreans who were also complaining in their own language. And can clearly tell they upset and frustrated, it wasn't just me. This building is in health code violations if compared to "WESTERN Europe"--(BALKANS,BALTICS NOT CONSIDERED) and USA standards. THERE WAS no air conditioning as advertised and the heat at night was making it miserable to sleep because of "NO" a/c and s

9.0+The owner is a kind man, he can fix anything. The room is clean, you have some toiletries too. The wifi is strong. There is a kitchen to share, which is nice and convenient. If you have dirty clothes, you can wash them. You can see the size of the room in the picture, it is exactly as advertised. It is an honest listing. There is everything you need very close by, and the subway is only a few minutes walk from this room.

7.0“Good”
+Great location! It's near the café street and there are plenty of bus stops nearby. There is also a public bus to Everland that is only a 5 minute walk from the property. It is a little dark, but as a place to keep your things safe while you roam around, it's great!

4.0“Get what you pay for”
+The check-in process was very easy and comfortable, all the information was texted to my phone. The person I talked to was very nice. The location is good, about 10ish minute walk from the subway station and right across from cafe street. No one bothered me there, for the most part it was quiet.
−The condition left a lot to be desired. The walls were dirty, there was hair in the shower, and there were cockroaches in my room. The space is quite small. The walls are paper thin. But at the end of the day, you get what you pay for, so I can't complain too much.
