“Not recommended”
+The refrigerator in the shared kitchen was clean.
−The response from the owner to simple requests... Like an extra towel were met with anger, numerous bad attitude WhatsApp messages. Definitely not friendly, nor made to feel welcome and felt very uncomfortable staying there. The neighbors across could see you taking a shower through the bathroom window. The owner first denied this. They did eventually put up a shower curtain on the window. Some mold in the bathroom. The huge amount of garbage and plastic bags dumped in the river and the land along the river. This was a horrible site to see. The smoke comes from the house below every morning, which made me cough and sneeze daily. It was not incense, Unfortunately. The bed linen had a few obvious stains. Bathroom windows did not lock. After asking the owner to fix the locks, it was not fixed. So, I felt my belongings were not safe. The peeping noise coming from the electrical box outside my room . I reported this to the owner and was again sent negative comments. They finally fixed the problem after telling me they were sick and had to drive there to wake a member of the household to fix the noise. There was no aircondioner ony a fan that didn't do much at all as it only went at very

+Amazing bathroom and patio view. Very comfortable bedding.
−The smells of the neighborhood: often smelled like trash and/or smoke which is a shame because I would have kept my windows open all the time if it did not smell.

“Great homestay”
+I really enjoyed my stay at Yobi house. The hosts are kind and welcoming, the area is much quieter and the rice fields near by are beautiful.. I also appreciated the little kitchen they have.. there is a shared balcony in front and back of the room. it was nice to watch the kids get their kites in the air with a traditional technique they used with a long bamboo pole.. so good to experience the true culture of the Balinese!

“Exceptional”
+I had 2 nights between tours and decided to stay at this guest house. What a convenient location! My favorite Piramids of Chi are nearby, I walked there for sessions, since it is not far. A beautiful view from the balcony opens at sunset. The room is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. I recommend it to anyone who wants to live in comfort and not buy anything extra. Ideal for expats

“Very nice stay in quiet part of Ubud”
+Kind local family style homestay. The place is simple, which was fine for me. The shower is really nice and the warm water lasts for a long time. The location is quite far from the centre (10-15 minute drive), but it is also in a nice quite area and escapes the busy centre.
−The plastic flooring in the bathroom needs fixing / replacing as it isn't strong and was easy to trip on.
