“Very convienient stop off enroute for conrwall. We will be back”
+Very friendly staff, great location, excellent tips for finding a play park etc
−Quite noisy, a shame the rooms aren't a bit more soundproofed. But not much that can be done about that

“We stayed one night and it was enjoyablle. We would stop there again.”
+The location was lovely. The trains were not a bother.
−The beds made a lot of noise. Any movement and you'd wake someone.

+Love this place! So convenient for Exeter, Dartmoor and Cornwall by bus and train. Nice TV lounge for watching football.
−Unable to open the window much, so rooms get very hot.

“I love staying with the YHA, but some of their rooms overheat and this needs to be addressed.”
+The usual excellent service and facilities from a YHA, but...
−...the room was unbelievably hot! We actually had to go and sleep on the couch in the games room. Other guests were doing the same to escape the heat from their rooms, and it wasn't a particularly warm evening.

“Great stopover”
+Good facilities-the games room and lounge were a bonus even though we didn't have time to use them. Room was a good size and beds as we expected. Easy check in and welcoming staff. Liked the building and the benches outside.
−It was quite noisy as you can hear people use the the toilet/in the room next to you. That is to be expected given it is a youth hostel though.

“Excellent! Fab facilities, staff and location”
+Everything! Amazing building, staff and facilities- even for a youth hostel. Excellent location for walking, biking and exploring. The kitchen is well equipped, sometimes busy, but that’s to be expected. We stayed with our 3 children and we all had a fab time.
−The rooms were quite hot, we couldn’t open the window fully, and the beds were quite squeaky, so we didn’t have an amazing sleep.
