“I definitely stay there again if the birds will removed”
+It was a beautiful hotel. From the rooms to the breakfast buffet…it was lovely
−I was in a lovely time that opened in to an internal balcony. It was very distressing to see little songbirds outside my room individually in cages very frightened.. this is cruel. It’s animal cruelty. The animals were on their own used as a noise background for the hotel ambience. Surely they could be in an Avery together something a little more humane. This was very distressing to see. They weren’t happy birds there was no stimulation in the cages. Most of my group complained about the noise anyway poor sweet little birds.

−A big hotel needs a better and faster coffee machine!

+Location
−Staff doesn’t even ask you how was your stay in checkout. Additionally, keeping tropical birds in cages so small that they cannot even fly, especially placed directly in the breakfast area, is deeply distressing and cruel. This negatively impacted our stay.

“Not the luxury experience it sells itself as - maybe its just Albania standards”
+Location was great, the hotel is nice but a very old property. It has a nice Spa, but expensive - not Albania relative prices.
−- Branded as a luxury experience but it's a high demand, high volume hotel with a lot of movement of people. A lot just wait in the lobby for hours at a time, little privacy. - The breakfast had many options but low quality. Partly because its left there sitting out for hours and hours. - The pictures are misleading. You see a massive lobby and atrium for a foyer and it's actually very small and cramped. Rooms are only ok - very old (not from a facility perspective, but more from a lack of maintenance).

“Set the caged birds free!”
+Buffet breakfast was brilliant. Spa was good, small but fine. Rooms were clean and smart. Staff were pleasant. This is one of the top hotels in Tirane so it is expensive for Tirane.
−We had a super early check out and asked for a packed breakfast. Given the splendid buffet that was included in the very hefty price, we expected a bit more than an apple, a bottle of water and a thin cheese sandwich. Also, they have caged exotic birds in the lobby. Caging birds is just cruel. The reception staff say they have had complaints about this cruelty before. The hotel should re-home the birds. Also, the music in the rooftop restaurant goes on until late and is very loud and can be heard two floors away. TBF, it was turned down when a 23.30 complaint was made.
