“Weekend break to EastSussex”
+Second time we’ve stayed at Wingrove House and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room we booked was a premium king and had a large bathroom. We ate both nights in the hotel’s restaurant as we enjoyed the food there on our previous visit. The food was as good as we had before.

“Almost perfect”
+Our room (4) was at the front with the use of a verandah which was a bonus. The room was very clean and the bed and bedding were excellent. The only minor issues were the bathroom vanity unit was very tatty with warped wood and slightly peeling paint and the tiles behind the toilet were lifting with grubby grouting. A very good shower both power and temperature but possibly a new shower tray overdue. The bi fold doors to the bathroom did not work well! Several times one of us got stuck in the bathroom or couldn’t get the door open to get in and really noisy to use it during the night. Design needs a rethink. Lovely staff and excellent food. Lounge area very welcoming and comfortable.

“Great place for time away”
+Beautiful village setting and close to everything. A few minor things that could be improved, the bed was so hard that it was hard to sleep and the noise in the hall from doors slamming from the automatic door closers and then load beeping when the doors didn’t quite close. So the food was good and the staff were fine but a lot of noise when you’re in the room.
