“Surrounded by nature”
+We had such a beautiful stay at Windy Nest Homestay. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by stunning views , waking up there felt magical. The family was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was also perfect, very close to Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and full of warmth. You can really feel the love and care this family puts into the place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella.

+Absolutely lovely family who cared for us with such quiet kindness. The setting is beautiful too, we saw so many birds while sitting on the balcony. A lovely place to spend your time in Ella, away from the traffic and noise of the centre of town but easy to walk or tuk tuk into town. One thing you note; the short but very steep hill at the entrance. Very common in Ella but could be tricky if you have mobility issues.

“Great value & host family.”
+We stayed a few enjoyable nights at Windy Nest; loved it. Very quiet, clean, comfortable - and lovely host family. Big, spacious room & bath. Nice balcony with seating & view. Tasty breakfast. A brisk walk - or short tuktuk ride - to Ella center, little Adam's peak, 9-arch-bridge; nice location & value. Dinner, tuktuk tours, other info & assistance available. Thank you. We'd stay here again.
−Building is not visible from the street. Access drive/walk down is steep. But no problem. It's a hidden oasis.

+Very nice host family. Close to the start of the nine arches bridge and the little Adams peak hiking trails.
−Unfortunately the room was very very damp, to the extent that there was condensation on the windows and it affected my breathing - I felt ill when I woke up in the morning and my clothes were damp after only one night. No hot water for evening shower. The entrance is under construction and the access is very steep. I chose the location because it was close to the hiking trails but it was actually pretty far from the main shops and cafes, so a closer place to the centre would have been better. I really can't understand the high ratings and unfortunately I wished I had spent more money (which would still have been a reasonable price) to stay in a nicer hotel. Sorry to the family who were kind and accommodating.

“We loved the view”
+Quiet, nice room, nice view, good food
−As mold is present in Sri Lanka due to humidity, we felt the smell during the night. But it’s very common in that area.

+- netter, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der auch gut Deutsch spricht - leckeres, vielfältiges Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit schönem Blick ins Grüne - zentral und trotzdem ruhig und idyllisch - Zimmer und Bad sauber und funktional
−- keine Klimaanlage, aber da es nachts genug abkühlt, war das nicht schlimm (außerdem Ventilator vorhanden)

+Alloggio vicino ai due punti di interesse Little Adam's Peak e 9 arches, e con una passeggiata di 15 min si arriva tranquillamente in centro ad Ella, immerso nella natura, fuori dalla vostra camera c'e un bel terrazzo con vista sulle montagne, la camera è spaziosa, anche senza aria condizionata ma solo con ventilatore si stava bene. Lo consiglio perché rapporto qualità - prezzo va bene. Si paga in loco in contanti

+W pokoju byla woda i suszarka do włosów. Super lokalizacja blisko Little Adam's Peak i Nine Arches Bridge. Bardzo dobre sniadanie i miłe panie.
−Duży pokój dwusobowy w rzeczywistości spokojnie pomieści 4 osoby, bo są dwa łóżka podwójne. Jednak przy wyborze tego pokoju dla trzech osob wyswietlala sie informacja, ze nie pomieści on trzech osob i trzeba bylo wziąć dwa takie pokoje
