“highly unpleasant experience”
−everytime we googled pet friendly accomodation in Pretoria Windmills Rest was the first option that came up. we ticked the box that says "are you traveling with pets" as we always do when traveling with our dogs. on arrival we were met by the owner/ wife of the owner having a complete meltdown because we brought our two Scottish Terriers. they are medium size dogs that has been traveling with us for years and are used to guesthouses and other dogs. we were met with animosity and really rude behaviour by the owners saying they have to fence in the room we wanted for the night as the property has electric fencing on the perimiter to keep wild animals out, but they cannot guarantee our animals safety. they were very very rude to us resulting in a screaming fit by the wife saying she breeds French bulldogs and her other dog is very aggressive. by then the animals have greeted each other, and there was no issue amongst the dogs. the owners carried on and on in a very aggressive way that we are not welcome. when we mentioned our re-fund she screamed that Booking.com hasn't paid them yet and they cannot refund us. we left shaking after this verbal attack and tried to find another pet frie

“It was fine for sleeping over. The bed is very high for short people and a lot of steps for older people.”
+The location was good for where we were going.. There was nice hot water but poor drinking water. Bed slept very nice ones we were on it.
−I think it used to be grad but no upgrading in a long time. So the place is nice as I like rustic but this was just not kept in shape.
