“Lovely comfy stay with beautiful views , will be back!”
+The views are beautiful, it’s quiet, great amenities and comfy beds.
−Not so much that I didn’t like but the pool area could do with some maintenance, broken lounge chair, the pool was a bit green and it was missing an umbrella (the stand was there).

“Quite a secluded spot, come packed and ready. The nearest mall is 20km away. Beautiful place overall, definitely worth e”
+So cosy and beautiful. Our unit was right infront of the pool, which made it even better.

+The setting is peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the busy everyday routine. The views are breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset.
−We were extremely disappointed with the service we received at Windfall Wine Farm. Upon arrival, our booking was incorrect, and instead of the deluxe double room we had paid for, we were placed in a much smaller one-bedroom cottage. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the host, Nicoll, who came across as arrogant and rude when we tried to address the issue. There was no effort made to resolve the mistake, offer a refund, or even check in to see if we were comfortable with the alternative arrangement. Paying for a higher-end room but receiving a significantly lower standard of accommodation without any compensation or concern for guest satisfaction is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling undervalued and frustrated.

“Weekend stay”
+The cottage is situated in such a beautiful area. The grounds are well kept and the pool is gorgeous. The check in instructions were easy to follow and I felt quite safe
−My pillowslip had some dust and a dead spider on it and the duvet had a small mark. The bench inside is uncomfortable and unsuitable for 4 people. It could rather be a sofa with an occasional chair in each room.

“My family enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and far away from everything. It was the best P2B.”
+I really loved the peaceful feeling. And being close to the pool. The accomodation was a breeze
−The fact that there was no wood or matches. The soap was also very small. Toilet paper is not a good brand.

“It was Fanfrickentastic as always!”
+Self catering cottages. My advise to those who want to visit, do not buy groceries to take with, there are shops like Checkers, Spar, Pick 'n Pay & Shoprite. Will save you time and bootspace. It is a 20-30 minute drive to town. We loved that the kids enjoyed themselves in the pool and play area. Each cottage have a braai area. You just need to bring your own Braai wood, charcoal. We also loved the peace, birds chirping, mountain views allround and the sound of silence!!
−There was a miscommunication with our booking but all in all we could not have asked for a better holiday stay to spend our Christmas. Nicole was very helpful in booking for our upcomming stay for Easter 2026!
