+Tonia and Demetri were amazing! Tonia supplied us with endless info on the island and what to do. Stunning views from Wind Tales. Great breakfast over looking the ocean. Quite steep alley ways, but madeit interesting. We loved our stay.

“A fantastic small boutique property in beautiful Syros”
+Alexis, Tonia and Dimitris were all wonderful hosts, served a fabulous fresh breakfast every day, helped us with reservations, ferry issues etc and generally made our stay very, very comfortable and relaxing. Wind Tales is a stunning property, on the top of Ano Syros, which was very authentic and beautifully decorated. Our room was unique, built on a rock, and so comfortable. We also loved the resident cat ❤️ Would recommend to anyone who wishes to have a short break in Syros, which is absolutely beautiful.
−Nothing. It was 🙌 for us. If you have mobility issues however, the multiple steps in and out of Ano Syros are quite challenging. We felt like we worked our muscles for sure!

+Absolutely everything! The location, the beautiful property, our room and the service were all exceptional. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Tonia. She does an outstanding and highly professional job while managing Wind Tales with so much warmth, care and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and completely at home. We honestly had the most wonderful time and could not have wished for a better stay. Tonia and Dimi, you are simply amazing - thank you for making our time at Wind Tales so special! Wind Tales is one of those places you leave with wonderful memories and immediately want to return to. We can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Syros. For us, it truly felt like a home away from home.
−There was honestly nothing we disliked. The only thing worth mentioning is that there are quite a few stairs, which are simply part of the location and its beautiful setting. This was absolutely no problem for us, but guests with limited mobility or those who have difficulty walking should keep this in mind when booking.

+We loved the views. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The accommodation was so quirky, with so many original features. It’s been restored to a very high standard and is nothing like we’ve ever stayed in before. Tonia was fantastic and a real asset to staying at Wind Tales. The breakfast was wonderful, served on the balcony and Tonia’s local knowledge was appreciated in recommending restaurants, booking us taxi’s etc. she was so willing. Demetri was amazing in taking our luggage to the taxi park and being there if we needed him.
−It’s certainly not for people who suffer from vertigo and those less mobile. The steps were steep and narrow and although the breeze was a welcome addition whilst we were staying at Wind Tales, it slightly hindered the higher points when getting back to the property. Having said that, we loved our stay.

“Exceptional stay at Wind Tales”
+Wind Tales is easily one of the best places I have ever stayed. From the very first minute, Alexis and Dimitri made me feel genuinely welcome. Their hospitality is warm, personal, and effortless. The location high up in Ano Syros is spectacular, with unbeatable panoramic views across the island and the Aegean Sea. The rooms are a modern, spotless, tastefully styled, and featuring extremely comfortable beds. The outdoor pool and breakfast terrace are absolute highlights. And the breakfast itself deserves special mention: fresh, healthy, delicious, and filled with high-quality local ingredients, all served with a view you never want to leave. A truly authentic, memorable stay with zero compromises. I couldn't have been happier and will definitely be back.

“Amazing visit!”
+A review won't be enough to tell everyone how wonderful Alexi and his staff are. He makes you feel at home from the moment you meet him. He wants to ensure you are comfortable and have the best time visiting. He might be the kindest person in the world and he might also be the mayor of Syros (he literally knows everyone and can help with anything!). The view is truly incredible, and you get to enjoy a home cooked breakfast every morning that is one of the best breakfasts you will ever have! The accomodations are perfect and everything is nice and comfortable! 10/10 stay with the kindest and most caring people you could ever want!

“Magnificent views, charming rooms and brilliant breakfast”
+Wind Tales is an absolute gem. The views are magnificent, the room was charming, chic, spacious and comfortable. The daily breakfast was a delight. Locally sourced, beautifully presented and just delicious. Lots of thought and personal touch. Loved it. Alexis and his team couldn’t have done more to accommodate us and ensure we made the most of Syros. The outside area is a peaceful place to unwind, read and take in the views, with a perfectly sized plunge pool to help you cool off. Despite what some reviews say, we found the 20-minute walk from the port to Wind Tales completely manageable as two reasonably fit, able-bodied people. Alexis also provided a brilliant concierge service, arranging taxis for us on an island where they’re sparse, and booking dinner reservations. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and will certainly be back.

+Schöne Einrichtung mit viel Herzblut gestaltet. Leider waren die Ablageflächen für die Kleidung sehr begrenzt. Meerblick nur durch ein kleines Fenster. Sehr gutes Frühstück.
