9.0“Wonderful southern Vermont experience!”
+We selected Willow based on the pictures and reviews that promised a quintessential Vermont Inn - and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. The owners were out of town, but their friends who were holding down the fort did an amazing job! They provided excellent recommendations on a nearby hike and great places to eat (even for the next stop on our journey). If you're in the area, make sure to check out the "Fat Crow" in Newfane - great pizza and the best clam chowder on our whole New England trip! The building and its surroundings are charming and quiet. Local art is on display throughout the rooms. The bed and mattress were relatively new and VERY comfortable (I slept better than at home). The breakfast was AMAZING! And being able to pet the cats was making it easier for my wife to be away from her own. We really enjoyed our stay!
−The location is *very remote. Of course this could be just what people are looking for - especially for a relaxing retreat.

9.0“Great”
+Friendly innkeepers with a very interesting mix of international guests.
−Due to our change in dates of stay, our room had a private bathroom located across the hall. Otherwise, everything fine.

6.0“A quirky overnight stop with interesting owners to converse with.”
+Breakfast was very nice and freshly made and well presented with nice ingredients. Bed was comfortable. Wifi available. Ample parking. The hosts were very welcoming and conversational. The hotel is used as a retreat on occasions with such classes as Yoga etc. and Art shows so not perhaps the usual run of the mill B&B.
−Going in you are greeted with a toilet on the right with no door to close it off. It should have one being so near a kitchen. There was also another toilet right next to the breakfast area.

6.0“Lovely location, lacking in some basics.”
+The setting was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.
−I think they have a ways to go before it truly delivers on a great B&B experience. Breakfast was barely much beyond coffee -- could have used some local cheese and preserves, or breakfast pastries. The entire place just needed a bit more 'cozy' and hospitality.
