+We loved our stay at Wild Hare! It was the perfect peaceful escape from the city, with a gorgeous view and such a relaxing atmosphere. Our cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Lance was a great host. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Wild Hare to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

“Relaxing and peaceful. Exactly what was needed for a reset.”
+We were very happy with chalet. It was clean and cozy. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly what we were looking for for a quite, relaxing weekend away.
−It might be something insignificant to others, but the shower head was very big for the size of the shower. A smaller one might be nicer.

+The hosts could not have been sweeter. The area is amazing and even though it was cold and a bit rainy, there was still so much to do in the Lions River and Howick Areas. The place is just a home. The host thought about every single detail. The surroundings are natural, so tranquil. I am definitely going to go back again and again... Everything was just perfect

“Very comfortable and well priced accommodation”
+Nicely located in the Midlands. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful linen. Very peaceful and new owner Lance so accommodating.
−The District road is in need of a scraping, but still drivable in a low sedan car.

“Great stay for great value. Would definitely return.”
+Super clean and spacious, secure, good privacy, friendly host. Everything in great working order, strong hot shower, really comfy bed, decent amount of privacy, well-priced. One unit has a fenced yard so it's also great for travel with pets.
−Access road is corrugated dirt road for about 1km so not ideal. Can absolutely do it in a regular vehicle but it will be bumpy. Cottages do not have the traditional expansive Midlands view so if you are specifically seeking that, be aware.
