+Peaceful resort, exceptional diving and wonderful staff We had a fantastic four-night stay at White Sands Resort Lembeh and completed eight dives: six morning muck dives, a sunset mandarin fish dive and an unforgettable blackwater dive. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of the family. The resort is peaceful and relaxing, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every dive was extremely well organised, and the boat skippers, crew and dive masters were outstanding. Their knowledge of Lembeh’s incredible marine life was exceptional, and they were brilliant at finding even the tiniest ocean critters. Our room was spacious, very clean and nicely furnished. The only small improvement would be hotter water in the shower, although standing under the open-air shower while the tropical rain fell around us was a surprisingly lovely experience. A wonderful stay with warm hospitality, excellent diving and a genuinely caring team. We would happily return.
−Everything was amazing...I just like hotter...boiling temp showers...but that's on me not them.

“Reasonably priced dive resort at a great location.”
+A dive resort with a good dive program. Nice A/C cabins right on the beach with open air bathrooms. Only resort with a beach in the area. "House reef" just off the beach but accessible only on high tide.
−Some parts of the property were showing signs of wear. A comfortable outdoor lounging area at the beach and more comfortable outdoor furniture on the cabin terrace would have been nice.

“Great diving, food, and staff - but limited service, some lack of comfort and quality dive equipment”
+Great value for the money - super tasty food - nice views of the beach from the cabins - nearby great dive sites, saw lots of really cool sea creatures, super friendly staff and dive master, super friendly desk/kitchen staff. FYI Only the manager speaks good english, you'll need google translate with you.
−It's definitely fine for 2 or 3 nights, but You do get what you pay for - we arrived after a long flight and was not offered any food on arrival - the restaurant/front-desk is only open at meal times, so we luckily had some chips we brought with us to hold us over for 5 hours till 730p dinnertime, and as there are no other places on the island nearby to buy anything, come with your own snacks! The bed is hard as a rock, i had to use a comforter underneath me to help me sleep. The shower hot water was intermittent (but lukewarm showers were fine in that weather as it's an outdoor shower in the warm weather). The dive master was great, and great dives, but the equipment was pretty old and heavily used - air was leaking into my BCD so I had to constantly let it out, they barely could scrounge equipment that fit my size (never asked in advance and showed up unprepared for my size). I had to squeeze into a wetsuit one size too small using plastic bags to get my arms and legs into it. The beach is nice, but like all the beaches in this area gets covered with plastic bottles and other trash - they try to remove it, but can't keep up with the volume, and you can see the neighboring beach c
