“Thanks for a lovely stay”
+Isaac who booked us in was efficient. He gave us fresh milk as my husband doesn't like uht milk. He was friendly despite being very busy when we arrived. The cleaner Gemma was bubbly and chatty. She had a lovely personality and made us feel at home. The breakfast was filling and well cooked. The room was very large and well equipped and laid out. There was a wonderful choice of teas which were presented nearly in a little box. We would definitely stay again.
−Shampoo bottles empty. Mark on the duvet cover which we only noticed when we went to bed at ten twenty and there was no one to ask for a replacement. We had to go out at ten to sort the car parking and there was poor lighting out the back by the trestle tables. It could do with a light that comes on like the one at the bottom of the stairs.

“We really enjoyed our stay in this very historic but beautifully decorated and well-managed inn.”
+We asked for a quiet room if possible and were given a very quiet room. It was at the front of the inn but even on a Saturday night we were not disturbed by any noise. I had the biggest Ploughman's ever which was delicious and the breakfasts were excellent too. The hosts could not have been more welcoming or attentive to our needs.
−The only aspect that almost deterred us from booking was the fact that parking was in a public car park. However it was very close to the inn and the off-peak hours were reasonable priced and free between 10pm and 8am.

“Well worth staying at this lovely pub.”
+The band that played downstairs were not, as initially indicated by the lady behind the bar, an Oasis tribute band! I cannot stand Oasis...
−What more did I need? Comfy bed, nice shower, excellent breakfast.

+I booked in for a one night stay! A lovely couple helped me bring my luggage in and guided me to getting into my room, the view was directly onto the highstreet and I could see the church which made for a lovely view during the night, I was provided with tea, coffee, whatever was needed and a staff member even carried my luggage up for me! The beds are very soft, immaculate, and the curtains were able to block out any unwanted light! The hotel also had free wifi, a bath tub & shower and plenty of room to put my items. Pimble the Pebble gives it an 11/10
−The room was great! I have nothing to complain about that I genuinely "didn't like" I noticed there appears to be a small leak coming from one of the taps which whilst not bothersome can start getting behind the caulking of the bath and might cause a damp or mould issue!

+Good breakfast and very accomodating of vegan options. Room clean, and good size, nice selection of toiletries. Staff very friendly and helpful
−Hot in room, so needed window open, but right next to church so quite noisy with the bell, could consider air con? Room advertised on booking.com with bathrobes and chocolate, when I asked was advised they don't do these any more. Shame as part of the reason I booked was these luxury touches.
