“Charming and fun place to stay. Cemetery across the street is so interesting and dramatic.”
+The location is wonderful. View from our room and balcony was exceptional Pool was so nice to have especially in the morning before the sun got too hot to be out there.
−Taking into consideration the homes age and normal wear and tear from weather, it seemed a bit more tired than we expected it to be. We would still stay there again because of the charm and friendly staff.

“The staff was great and I loved the view as well as getting vouchers to go to a nearby manor for breakfast.”
+Fabulous location, beautiful view. Quiet and restful.
−The room didn’t seem to be completely cleaned. The carpet was very clearly in need of a vacuum, a random coat hanger was on the table, and there was a take out coffee cup left on the porch.

“The view was breathtaking and the house was beautiful at least the parts we saw. To me it just wasn’t worth the money we”
+The view was absolutely Beautiful 🥰 our room was really clean.
−Wasn’t as advertised!!!. The bed was worn and very uncomfortable and squeaked every time we moved. No place to really sit in room. No breakfast on property (as mentioned on website). We did have a voucher for breakfast at Monmouth Hall☹️. No mini fridge or microwave(as mentioned on website). No nightstands. No cable Tv (as mentioned on website) Did have the internet live tv though. Had a door that went into the hosts main living quarters but could not lock from inside our room. Only met the gentleman who owns it once and that was because I was having problems logging on to internet. Our room was an upstairs room but that really wasn’t an issue for us. We were really excited about staying at a historic mansion but wasn’t even offered a tour of the house.

−The lighting in the bathroom needs to be improved! I couldn’t see to apply makeup
