“A delightful, wonderful stay and experience!!”
+We didn’t eat there. We liked everything about West Beach Resort. Such a beautiful place to stay. The Cabins were so wonderful and the firewood that was provided made our evening on the sound , with a sunset, and watching the stars absolutely delightful. Thank You for such a lovely place to stay!!!!

+Remote, quiet area, beautiful cottage on the beach with all amenities inside & outside: fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, wood stove with a bundle of wood ready to use, bbq outside, picnic table & chairs on the beach with fire pit!

“Everything we hoped for”
+The location of the resort on the water with sunsets over the Salish sea and lush forest beyond is awe inspiring. The property is well maintained as are the cottages. Beds were comfortable. This resort was the perfectly romantic location for our 43. anniversary in April. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. We recommend this resort without hesitation.

“Great Cozy Cabin For A Winter Getaway”
+It’s very picturesque feels like you’re in a movie , we went off season so it was very quiet feels like we have the beach to ourselves, even if there are others staying in the resort we didn’t run into then much. Cabin 3 is very comfortable for 4 people there is enough room for everyone, I like that the bathroom is huge, the living room is big enough, the kitchen has all the tools you might need to cook up a meal, the heating is also great I was concerned that it will not heat up enough because the ceilings were tall but I was wrong, the bedrooms are small just enough to sleep not much space to move around but thats ok it added to the coziness of the place , since its a log cabin its smells really good as well very woodsy

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay because the location is hard to beat, but we don’t feel the accommodations matched the pric”
+West Beach Resort has one huge advantage: the location. The setting on Orcas Island is absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the surroundings made our stay memorable. We also appreciated that the cabin felt a bit more remote and private, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. The dock is an amazing place to sit and watch the ocean. While we did not spot whales during our stay, we did actually see 6 killer whales right in front of the resort and dock when we were on a whale watching tour during our stay in Friday Harbor; ehat are the odds!
−That said, we were disappointed with the cabin itself. It felt quite outdated and didn’t live up to the “deluxe” description. The listing also advertised a partial sea view, but in reality the trees block most of the view, so we didn’t feel that description was accurate. In addition, the listing mentioned both a washing machine and a dishwasher, as well as a seperate bedroom and champagne/wine for guests, but none of that was actually present, which was frustrating. Especially with a baby, the washing machine missing was a big disappointment. The bed was also on the small side and quite squeaky, making it less comfortable than we had hoped. The staff experience was mixed. Some team members were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and welcoming, while others came across as indifferent and didn’t make us feel particularly welcome.
