“We loved our time at the cottage even if we spent most of our day adventuring on the Big Island”
+The property was lovely and absolutely stunning while covered in beautiful tropical plants. The cottage was clean and had all amenities needed for a short stay. It was memorable and an enjoyable trip!

+Hands down the best place I've stayed on the Big Island. Very secluded at the end of the road, the house was perfect for a couple staying for a couple of days. The bed was super comfy and the rainforest out the window was nice. The kitchen was large and had all we needed to cook our own meals. The hot tub out back was really nice with the outdoor shower. I also appreciated having a washer and dryer we could use. I can't say how awesome this place was and we will be back here next time we visit the Island.

+Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others.

“A lovely little place, but too expensive for what it is.”
+Good location, very quiet and beautiful. Lovely hot tub in the jungle.
−Bedroom and living room are very small. We had to put our luggage on the coffee table. There is barely room to walk around the bed.

“Nice house in the jungle”
+Cool place with nice amenities if you’re staying up near Kiluehea. The home has a nice gas fireplace and is close enough to restaurants etc

“Relaxing retreat for a family vacation”
+The cottage was an oasis, surrounded by the rainforest with all the creature comforts of home. We had enough supplies for breakfast, wifi, and enough space to spread out. It was a wonderful start to our Hawaii vacation.

“We enjoyed our stay. We chose the place because we could bring our dogs.”
+There was really no breakfast. We brought our own coffee as we have a coffee farm in Captain Cook, but there was no coffee if you didn't bring your own. There was only children's cereal there, and a qt. of milk and few pieces of fruit.
−The house was adorable and comfortable, but I really hate to complain, that the water in the jacuzzi was cloudy, highly chemical smelling and with all the rain in Volcano, should have the water changed more often. The grounds were very beautiful and location superb.
