+Private layout and nicely appointed cabins. Was stocked with everything we needed. Nice set up by the water.
−Everything was a la carte so if you wanted to kayak or sup, you had to pay extra.

“Janvrin Island retreat”

+We spent a wonderful week at Vipilodge and absolutely loved our stay. It is a beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place, perfect for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of civilization and enjoy nature. All six cottages are located in the forest, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottages are wooden, comfortable, clean, and have a wonderful natural, eco-friendly feel. Each cottage has its own private driveway, which gives you plenty of privacy and makes the stay even more relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the whole place has a very peaceful and cozy atmosphere. It is an ideal place for anyone who wants to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy some quiet time in nature. A special thank you to the owners, Ingo and Maria. They are very friendly, welcoming, and kind, and they made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. My wife and I really enjoyed our week at Vipilodge. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. We would love to come back!

“A wonderful week in beautiful surroundings.”
+Privacy, easy access to hosts Ingo and Maria, a roomy cabin to cook dinner & breakfasts. Kayaking was great, I swam every day. Yoga in the screened pavilion a gift. We were able to day trip everywhere we wanted to go on Cape Breton Island.
−Well, it's a big mosquito season and we hit it in prime time.

+Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was well-maintained and the public spaces such as the club house were also comfortable and welcoming. The shorefront offered an incredible postcard view and was a fantastic place to relax. Overall, the property is a great place to get away, slowdown and rejuvenate.
