+The actual property and villa was beautiful.
−We have stayed with the Vinpearl group previously in Vinpearl Luxury, Nha Trang, Vietnam and had high expectations as a result. However, we were severely disappointed this time. 1) housekeeping was terrible. The beds were barely made properly, stained sheets were provided, and tables weren't wiped. They needed to be told to take away empty bottles. Nothing was cleared from the pool area. Toilets bowls and sinks weren't cleaned properly. The garbage bins weren't cleared. We needed to stand watch over them so that things were actually done properly. 2) We were charged for extra plates and cutlery or glasses when requested. I have never experienced a 5 star property charging their guests for extra plates and cutlery. 3) Kitchenette is in name only. They merely provide a larger fridge. No other utensils or even a microwave is provided, making the built-in stove useless. You are charged extra and are required to fill in a disclaimer if you request any other equipment. 4) breakfast is overhyped. There is barely any change in the menu day-to-day. 5) The main pool of the property was being renovated, and the hotel failed to inform us of the same prior to arrival. They arranged use of the p

+Staff was superb and helpful. On my stay the bathtub is not functional. Breakfast is variety. Close to every attraction.

+We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. Everything was well organised and made for an enjoyable stay, and we would happily stay here again. Unfortunately, the pool was undergoing maintenance during our stay, so we were unable to use it. The only compensation offered was a soft drink and a shuttle to another pool every 30 minutes, which was a little disappointing. We were told the pool would be completed midway through our stay, but it was still unavailable when we left. There is a 24-hour convenience store directly outside the hotel, where beer was around one-third of the price. We ended up buying drinks there on two evenings and having it in the room next to the pool. The buffet breakfast at reception was also better, although the staff repeatedly tried to direct us to breakfast at another location. (Just say you want to go to reception before going to breaky) Our pool was dirty when we arrived, had an algae looking bits in the pool which they cleaned half way through.

“Great location but property is very run down and not maintained well.”
+Location to safari and theme parks was fantastic. It is a huge resort with plenty of space. Each villa is massive
−Poorly maintained, not clean, whole property only has 2 restaurants, spa and gym closes early, property is very rundown, service is very slow even at check in and check out.
