“Excellent, enjoyable stay with a fantastic location”
+The location was excellent, with a beautiful view of the lake and the sunrise right from our room. There was a continental breakfast that was fine, nothing fancy, but adequate. They also gave us 2 complimentary wine/cider/beer tastings in their winery which was a nice gesture. The staff was very helpful with questions and recommendations. And there is a bar with pub fare and a restaurant on the premises as well. We would visit again

“Romantic getaway”
+Beautiful place for a romantic stay. Castle and accommodations were lovely. We choose a room with a spa tub and fireplace overlooking the water. Winery gave us a nice afternoon without traveling. We are looking forward to a return visit..
−Really had no real dislikes. Place is nicely cared for, staff was friendly and such a relaxing time.

“Mediocre room with high price rates for January in upstate NY”
+Location
−For an expensive hotel the grout in shower was missing in places. The in room coffee was so bad I couldn’t drink it. King size bed with 2 very thin pillows.

“A great getaway, but would sample other local eateries.”
+Property was great, nice location, good view of the Seneca Lake, quiet, etc. All in all a great getaway.
−Dinner could have been better. Traditional continental breakfast was disappointing. We ate in main dining room and service was slow and entrees were just okay.
