+The Owner and the Team, who are very supportive and courteous.
−The approach road need more attention and more room for expansion from the surrounding buildings to enable visitors to travel more comfortably.

+It was our first time in Sri Lanka with our three children and the experience will stay with us forever. We chose Villa Talpe for our 8 days stay due to its great reviews and it certainly proved to be the right choice. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place with lovely food, this is it! We were so well looked after throughout our stay that we can only give 10* out of 10*! The family is so nice and kind and made us feel at home. We visited many different beaches and our favourite one was Mirrisa beach which was easily accessible by local bus and so much fun! 😊 We would like to take this opportunity and thank the family for their amazing hospitality. Sri Lanka is in our ❤️

“Seven of us stayed for two nights at Villa Thalpe and really enjoyed a relaxed comfortable holiday”
+Very clean, comfortable rooms and bath rooms with hot water and adequate water pressure. Very friendly family environment. Clean swimming pool . Good home made food.
−The approach road is very narrow with a sharp bend just enough for a medium size vehicle. We travelled in two big jeeps and found it difficult to mannuer it. parking is available just enough for two vehicles.

“Magical jungle stay with kids - peaceful, fun, and full of nature”
+We had a fantastic stay at Villa Talpe with our two children (ages 3 and 6). The pool was a highlight- set right in the middle of nature, surrounded by lush greenery. We spotted several peacocks and enjoyed magical jungle walks, especially in the evening with our son. We even saw fireflies and many other fascinating animals. The breakfast was delicious, and there are plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, easily reachable by tuk-tuk. The hosts are incredibly kind- it's a truly lovely family who made us feel very welcome.
−Nothing really ! everything met or exceeded our expectations.

“Exceptional”
+Beautiful villa with a gorgeous swimming pool. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We loved the family - they were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal that we ate at the villa. We also really loved the village, and the walk through the village to the beach, seeing every day Sri Lanka life.
−Everything was perfect. Many thanks to the family for hosting us

“A beautiful place to stay”
+Beautiful place, beautiful family hosts! This is a great place to stay away from the chaos of the main beach areas, but still close enough to get a short ride in to those areas when you want to. The walk to Talpe beach area is also a lovely walk through the friendly local village. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and we loved waking up to the sound of nature.
