“Outstanding in all regards”
+Superb, charming and luxurious boutique hotel away from the bustle of Kandy but super handy for many outings. We loved our room, the staff were amazing, the pool gorgeous, the food outstanding. It was all faultless - my favourite hotel of our 2 week Sri Lankan holiday.

“Amazing views and tranquil setting.”
+Fantastic location at the top of a hill with amazing views. Very tranquil and peaceful. Staff were exceptional, attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms were well appointed and beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast both Sri Lankan and European were delicious. Pool was very refreshing. Would highly recommend staying in this beautiful villa again.

“Beautiful property with stunning views and excellent in-house restaurant!”
+Villa Rosa is exceptional. It is a beautiful property with stunning views. We had our room upgraded (for free) because there which is a sign of excellent management and their approach to giving the best possible customer experience. The room was amazing, the pool was so nice to chill out and watch the sunset, and the breakfast and dinner was on par with fine dining restaurant quality. Definitely highly recommended and a fun tuk-tuk ride to get there from central Kandy haha!

“A very special place and a lucky find”
+The property has an incredible view of the area. It’s high up just slightly out of the main town. It’s so quiet and peaceful but there is also a lot going on if you want it - there is a wellness centre with a massage, yoga studio. Massage is highly recommended. An infinity pool overlooking the hill top. We had dinner at the villa in the evening - curries and rice. Superb. It’s a team effort at Villa Rosa. The owners are supported by a brilliant team of staff that are treated like extended family. We were taken along to the market by one of the team and shown around while he did the daily shop. Everything is done to make you feel as welcome as possible. And not to forget the two resident doggies, they were the sweetest !

+The property is well located on the top of the mountain but only 15 minutes of the city by Tuk tuk. We were lucky enough to get upgraded in the family suite which gets the best view of the river and forest. We even assisted to a cooking lesson and get a Kandy market’s tout organized by the hotel so thank you again !
−There is not a lot of activities to do in Kandy but it allows you to enjoy completely the hotel

+Wir waren in der Familien-Suite. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer-eigenen Balkon oder oder auch vom Pool im Innenhof war Atemberaubend. Das Essen im Hotel war sehr gut. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und im sehr familiären, kleinen Hotel sehr gut aufgehoben. Es gab das interessante Angebot morgens mit dem Küchenchef auf den Markt zu fahren und sich Früchte, Gewürze und Lebensweise erzählen zu lassen.

“Belle villa avec vue !”
+Magnifique villa ! Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce logement. L'endroit est sublime, décoré avec goût, les espaces sont très agréables et la terrasse avec la piscine est juste incroyable ! Nous avons pu profiter des magnifiques coucher de soleil. Le personnel est très accueillant, très sympathique, un véritable plus! Les repas et petits dejeuners sont très bons et savoureux !

“Bien mais cher pour les prestations”
+Nous avons apprécié le charme de cette belle maison coloniale, la taille des chambres, la qualité de la literie et surtout la superbe vue. Les chambres sont très agréables et l’endroit possède beaucoup de caractère.
−En revanche, plusieurs points nous ont déçus. Tout d’abord, l’accès est assez difficile et l’établissement est peu signalé, ce qui rend son arrivée compliquée. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour les parents et une pour les enfants, mais les deux chambres se trouvaient dans des bâtiments différents. Nous aurions apprécié que cela soit clairement précisé lors de la réservation. À noter également pour les personnes sensibles aux chiens : trois chiens vivent sur la propriété et les aboiements sont assez fréquents, notamment le soir et durant la nuit. Cela a perturbé mon sommeil et je me réveillais régulièrement vers 6 h du matin. La chambre ne dispose pas non plus de rideaux occultants, ce qui fait que la lumière du jour nous réveille très tôt. La climatisation était également particulièrement bruyante dans notre chambre. Enfin, nous avons trouvé le rapport qualité-prix assez décevant. Le tarif nous semble élevé par rapport aux prestations proposées et aux standards que nous avons rencontrés au Sri Lanka. Après un mois de voyage, nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs établissements nettement moins chers offrant des prestations similaires, voire supérieures. Les repas sont également très
