“Spacious, clean apartment great for chilling by the pool”
+Spacious apartment with great kitchen facilities and a lovely pool. Host was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is great, mid way between Trogir and Split and near to great local beaches in Kastela.
−Bit tricky to take a shower in the bathroom without help, but there is another very good shower in the pool area.

+Firstly, Mateo, the host, was exceptional - he could not have been more helpful when we found ourselves unexpectedly without accommodation, spending hours helping us. Despite only booking half an hour before, he was there waiting to check us in with a warm, friendly welcome. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect and the outdoor kitchen made pool days perfectly relaxing. The bbq area is stocked with wood and firelighters. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Despite being so close to the airport, the apartment is sound proof so the plane noise was not an issue for us. You can get to the sea and a small beach in 20 minutes (walking) but the restaurants and bars are a little further (around 30 minutes).
−No shower (only a bath) in the first floor apartment.

“Disappointing Stay - Not as Described and Lacking Privacy”
+La Marin is well-located, offering a convenient base for exploring both Split and Trogir. The property itself is equipped with a complete kitchen and a well-furnished house, which made our stay comfortable in terms of basic amenities. The host, Mateo, was welcoming and friendly upon arrival, which we appreciated.
−Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing and did not meet expectations. One of the main reasons we chose this accommodation was the promise of exclusive use of the property and its facilities. However, upon arrival, we found that this was not the case. For four out of the seven days, other guests were present and dominated the outdoor space, making it difficult for us to enjoy the area. Even when using the pool, we had to stay on the opposite side to avoid conflicts. We brought this up with Mateo, but he only offered a discount for a future stay,something we are not interested in after such a negative experience. We also reported this issue to Booking.com, as the situation did not match the description provided when we made the reservation. There were several other issues that affected our comfort. The air conditioning in the living room was not strong enough to cool the bedrooms, especially during the hot nights. Additionally, the shower setup was quite uncomfortable, as we had to shower in the bathtub while holding the showerhead by hand,something we hadn’t expected. +Perfect destination for your holiday to split! It is a very clean, spacious and beautiful Villa. The inside and outdoor areas have all the amenities that you need. The host is amazing and extremely accommodating. We couldn’t find a single fault. The property is ideal for if you are just looking to go away and spend the majority of your time there because it has a very good size pool & jacuzzi which was relaxing and we had fun using the bbq area. The airport is about 10 minute drive away and there are local beaches from a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk away. However if you are looking to go into Split, this is about a 20-30 min drive but cabs are very accessible through Uber.

+Very close to airport, nice swimmingpool, very lovely owners,very helpfull, in villa you find every thing you need for short and longer holiday. It was once of best place we were. And very good location. I high recomend for everyone. 10/10!!

“Very nice villa and super friendly owner”
+Super nice villa that has all the utilities you need. The place was clean and tidy and also in a great location if you plan to visit Split or one the coastal towns. The pool, jacuzzi and beach beds and outside dining area are great if you plan to stay and relax by the villa. Easily accessible by car with plenty of parking space. Matea was super nice and friendly and we will definitely book again if we come back.

“Superb”
+The property was very clean and spacious with aircon in the main living area. It had a nice balcony and outdoor area to sit and eat and the pool and hot tub were really good. The rooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Location was nice, 10 minutes from the airports and 20 minutes from the centre. We did hear planes going past but not very often and could only be heard from the balcony or outside area. Just 5 minute drive away there is a beach with lots of nice restaurants along the waterfront.
−Only improvements would be adding a proper shower and aircon in the bedrooms.
