+Amazing rooms, very large, clean and well decorated. Bathrooms were amazing. Elena was lovely and the breakfast outstanding. I want to come back to Potes just to stay here again.

“A lovely room in the owner's home, in a good location close to town.”
+The room was lovely, spacious, lots of light/windows, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. A short walk to the heart of town, nice garden sitting area.
−Communication regarding check in was lacking. We arrived, needed to call the owner, from a number taped on the door. She arrived promptly, and hurriedly ran through all the house information, without much space to ask questions. It felt a bit like one was an intrusive house guest, rather than a comfortable small inn. A small quibble: no water was provided in the room, and one was charged for coffee and tea. It is understandable to charge for alcohol and/or soft drinks from an "honor" bar, but everywhere else I have been always provides coffee and tea (and at least a preliminary water bottle) without charge. Also, the soap and shampoo provided were in big bottles, like a left over product found in some AirBnBs, rather than "fresh" products.

+Faultless! Probably the cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at! Very tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. Great location, easy walk to town. Parking was safe and easy. Tasty breakfast and good info from the host.

“Beautiful accommodation for exploring the Picos”
+Villa Elena is in the perfect location, an easy 10 minute walk to Potes which is a lovely vibrant town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Private parking at the villa was very useful as parking in Potes itself looked quite difficult. The villa is beautifully furnished and our deluxe double room was large, clean and bright. The bathroom was really lovely and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night as the villa is set back from the road. The real highlight is the breakfast - fresh fruit, a homecooked savoury dish followed by a homecooked sweet treat plus fruit juice and tea or coffee. The cost was not included in our reservation but the small extra charge is 100% worth it, it was absolutely delicious and very filling. Communication and access to the villa was very easy and we had no problems. The owner is a lovely lady who clearly works hard to keep up such high standards. I would definitely recommend Villa Elena if you are looking to stay in the Picos region.

“A fantastic property, combined with a lovely host. I couldn't have had a better stay!”
+It really is a beautiful property, I was in the room with the wood framed balcony. The room was very clean and well maintained, as was the whole property. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and I will definitely stay here next time I am in the area. The breakfast was also very good. Also secure parking for guests was a massive bonus!

“Perfect base for different areas of Picos de Europa, and local town with good restaurant choice”
+Had room with front balcony. Ate breakfast (9am onwards) the first morning, else did not require for other days due to trips Used as a base for Fuente De (30mins away), Cares Gorge hike (Cain 90mins away), and had arrived from Covadonga Lakes. Short walk into town for evening restaurants. Quiet Excellent host Lovely breakfast
