“Amazing stay”
+Wow what an amazing stay! Great communication before arriving at the property. We changed our check in time 3 times on the day but this was taken with a lovely 'no problem'. Luca was very kind and went out of his way to pick us up from the train station. The room was amazing and the communal areas were outstanding. It really is a beautiful place. Breakfast was prepared and bought to our room by Theresa. She is the most friendly and lovely lady. Her breakfast was fantastic, very tasty and plentiful. We really didn't want to leave. Location was great too. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.

“Horrible stay with a pretty view.”
+We liked the decor. The master bedroom and bathroom were beautiful.
−Everything else. There wasn’t enough hot water to even fill the bathtub, much less for four people to shower. The staff, except for one lady, did not respond to any of our messages. There were more miscommunications or no communications than I could count. The hotel claims they provide shuttle services, but they do not. Finding a taxi anywhere was difficult. The upstairs bedroom and its bathroom were small and not decorated. There is only one key and one gate remote, so pretty much everyone has to leave and enter together. This was our shortest, yet most expensive stay in Italy, and it was by far the worst.

“An amazing stay in a truly lovely Villa - highly recommend!”
+The staff was gracious and helpful, the rooms charming and clean, the breakfast delicious! Villa Durante was elegant with high ceilings, beautifully painted walls and decor - it felt like you were staying in a true villa! We got lost upon arrival into Naples and the host could not have been more lovely - even when we were well over an hour later than expected. We were made to feel right at home!

+The whole place is incredible. We felt we were living in a palace. Easy parking and fantastic staff. They made us feel at home and were very helpful through our stay.

+The building was absolutely stunning !! The room was spacious and luxurious and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the king suite, there was air conditioning, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful with lots of hot water. The breakfast was prepared by Teresa and was delicious with fresh orange juice, pastries, yoghurt, cereal, fruit and coffee. Would highly recommend Villa Durante as it was perfectly situated for our day trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum and there were some lovely places to eat close by such as Rovi for delicious pizza & Pappamonte restaurant for an amazing dinner !! ☆☆☆☆☆

“Charming apartment in old regal style”
+It was a beautiful apartment, very grandiose, felt like you were staying in a palace, in the king room. The location is ok, not the best part of town but felt safe enough. The breakfast was brilliant and the lady who served it was very friendly and helpful
−I had also booked the queen room which on booking.com shows a circular bath next to the bed, but when we checked in, the bath has been blocked in. Booking.com need to update their photos on this property as it is misleading

“Splendeur à expérimenter 📸🇮🇹”
+Le temps d'un weekend, nous avons profité du charme et de la richesse d'une authentique villa du XVIIIe siecle. L'espace de notre suite composée de beaux matériaux et d'une hauteur sous plafond vertigineuse donne le.ton tout comme les espaces communs ! L'accueil organisé par Luca et Teresa a été impeccable ! Le petit-déjeuner nous a été servi dans le salon de notre suite pour notre plus grande joie. Ce temps d'intimité, avant de s'élancer à la découverte des richesses de la région, nous a été bien profitable pour l'organisation de nos journées.

“Bel établissement bien situé et très confortable”
+Le bâtiment abritant l’hôtel est magnifique. Il s’agit certainement d’un ancien petit palais italien. Très beaux espaces comprenant une grande chambre, un grand salon attenant et une belle salle de bain. Le tout dans un décor d’époque. Très bon accueil. Bon petit déjeuner. Personnel sympathique et toujours prêt à rendre service. Hôtel bien situé pour ceux qui veulent visiter le site d’Herculanum.
