“A cozy, welcoming hotel with friendly staff, beautiful views, and a great location, although street noise can be an issu”
+The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a cozy, homely atmosphere. It felt more like staying at a relative’s or friend’s home than at a hotel. The view from the window was beautiful, and the location was convenient for exploring Izmir. Overall, the hotel had a warm and comfortable feel that made the stay enjoyable.
−The windows overlook a popular landmark where people often gather to take photos, so it can get quite noisy. The surrounding street is also busy, and noise at night can sometimes disturb your sleep.

“Avoid this hotel”
+Like: 1. The view from balcony of the sea is very good. Thats it
−1. Staff did not know any English 2. Same breakfast every day- no change 3. Room was very small- We requested twin beds byt were given 1 small queen bed- very narrow for 2 persons 4.. Not enough space in the room to open suitcases. Open Wardrobe insufficient for keeping clothes. 5. Noisy neighbours playing loud music at night. 6. Very expensive for the facilities provided.

“A standard stay with good value for money.”
+The location was convenient and easy to find. The price was also very reasonable, and overall the staff were helpful.
−The hotel was quite old, the shower head was broken, Also, complimentary water was only provided on the first day. After that, two bottles cost €1, which didn’t really make sense to me. If we had made separate one-night bookings, the water would apparently have been complimentary each day.

“Great stay at the Variante Hotel”
+The staff there are very kind and hospitable. Great view. Great Breakfast. Close enough to walk everywhere including being near a metro. Nice old style and decor.
−No kettle and a slight lack of space for clothes etc.

“charming historic building with a good view”
+A beautiful historic house, family business, warm and charming atmosphere. The view from the café and terrace is spectacular. The stuff was extremely nice.
−The rooms are tiny! There is no place to store / organize anything. That makes it uncomfortable. We lived for 3 days on top of the bed… almost no room to even walk out of the bed. Also the location is on top of a really steep hill, that makes it difficult with luggage. You need to arrive by car

+Staff gentile
