“Great stay for a break”
+Lovely place very comfortable clean and nice views from the balcony. The woods nearby is a very nice walk, great location to explore generally around Northumberland. I visited Druridge Bay, Alnmouth and Simonside hills with a short drive and enjoyed relaxing in the lodge in the downtime.

“Nice cottage, close to the national parks and historical sites.”
+Nice cottage, close to national parks and historical sites The owner is very friendly and helpful.
−It is very easy to bump your head or trip because the floor between the rooms is not even.

“Not a lodge but a glorified caravan”
−This was a caravan not a lodge? The twin room was uncomfortable as it was only 2x 2.5ft beds

“A lovely home-from-home stay with beautiful views”
+We had a lovely stay. The spacious living room and kitchen, along with the stunning views, were definite highlights. But it was the little touches throughout the property that we loved the most, such thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. We would definitely stay again!

+The property was clean and spacious. Everything was supplied that you might need. Peaceful with a lovely view of the golf course. Lovely food served at the local pub
−Nothing really Didn’t use the ‘club’ house so cannot comment

+Lodge was well set out. There was a good amount of space. There was a good selection of kitchen equipment, pans crockery etc. The owners had added their own touches to make the lodge homely. A great amount of thought has gone into this lodge.
−There was nothing not to like about this property. It was perfect.

“Great place to stay.”
+The accommodation is a very good size. It has two good sized bathrooms and two good sized bedrooms which have been thoughtfully decorated. There was a good sized fridge and freezer, excellent cooking facilities and a washing machine, which for longer stays would be very helpful. The outside area has good seating and a nice outlook over the golf course. There was also a very thoughtful welcome gift when we arrived. The accommodation is well maintained and had everything we needed, like home from home. The owners were also brilliant with their communication, which was very helpful. The only thing I would add, is that you need to have a car to benefit from staying here.
−There really isn't anything we didn't like.
