“Sea View B&B on Ring of Kerry close to Kenmare.”
+House was built to be a B&B. Rooms ensuite, clean, and well furnished. Beautiful view of the sea. Nice helpful onsite hosts. On the Ring of Kerry,only 6 miles from Kenmare. Kenmare was easier to drive than most towns,had some one-way streets & real parking lots.

+We stayed two nights at Valhalla while touring the Ring of Kerry on our bikes, and it was the highlight of the trip. Barry and Jens are first-class hosts. Warm, welcoming and genuinely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They also knew the local roads properly and gave us real, useful pointers on which routes to take, which is not something you get from a guidebook. It shaped both our riding days and we saw roads we'd otherwise have missed. The house itself is spotlessly clean and superbly maintained. Everything has clearly been looked after with care. Breakfast deserves its own mention. The quality and the presentation were closer to a top restaurant than a typical B&B, and it set us up well for a full day in the saddle. If you're touring Kerry, on two wheels or four, this is where you want to be based. We'll definitely be back.

+Stunning BnB! Wonderful position with view over the sea and Beara peninsular. Beautiful garden with areas to sit and enjoy the view. Very comfy bed and high quality coffee and tea, plus sparkling water from their well! Immaculately clean everywhere, with interesting art and lovely furnishings. Great base to explore the Ring of Kerry and Kenmare.

+The property was amazing. The facilities were perfect - everything we could need. The house and grounds were very beautiful. The owners were absolutely wonderful - very warm, welcoming and helpful. They provided us with many suggestions for our sightseeing and our travels, which we wouldn't have otherwise done. We enjoyed our conversations with them, and they always made time for us. And the food they prepared was delicious, fresh and filling! They made our time there very memorable.

−We didn't realise that it was a shoe free house and TV free zone. An easy chair would have been good in our room.

Jens und Barry sind zwei unglaublich herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die mit ihrer offenen und liebevollen Art dafür sorgen, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wie zu Hause fühlt. Besonders beeindruckt haben uns neben der einzigartigen Atmosphäre des Hotels auch der traumhafte Ausblick und das fantastische Frühstück. Hier wird sich noch richtig Zeit für die Gäste genommen. Man kann den Morgen in aller Ruhe genießen, ohne Hektik oder Stress. Jeden Morgen haben sich Jens und Barry persönlich um uns gekümmert, sich nach unseren Plänen erkundigt und uns mit tollen Tipps für den Tag versorgt. Die beiden kennen die Umgebung unglaublich gut und haben immer eine passende Empfehlung parat. Man merkt einfach, dass sie ihre Arbeit mit ganz viel Herz und Leidenschaft machen. Auch die Lage ist einfach großartig! Besonders die Restaurants in Kenmare haben uns begeistert. Die Auswahl und die Qualität des Essens sind wirklich genial und machen den Aufenthalt auch kulinarisch zu einem echten Highlight.
