10.0“Best atmosphere hotel in Bukhara”
+**Stay here and let Umid look after you** Usman Heritage isn't just a hotel. It's the house Umid grew up in, and it has been in his family for generations. He picked us up from the train station himself, and on the drive over he told us about the house and the relatives who once lived there. Once we arrived, it all came together: the rooms are named after those family members, and old photos hang on the walls, each with its story. You feel less like a guest and more like you've been invited into a family's history. Umid himself went well beyond what you'd expect from a hotel owner. He helped us sort out tickets, pointed us to restaurants we'd never have found on our own, and booked them for us. It felt like having a friend in Bukhara rather than a host. He spent years in hospitality in Dubai and you can tell. His English is perfect, and his whole approach is top class: relaxed and friendly, but nothing slips through the cracks. The basics are excellent too. The beds are really comfortable and breakfast is amazing, easily one of the best we had in Uzbekistan. Small place, big heart. We'd recommend it to anyone.

10.0“Umet and his wife were exceptionally welcoming. I can’t think of anywhere I would rather have stayed”
+The breakfast was excellent, you definitely don’t go hungry! My most favourite part of the breakfast was most certainly the home produced muesli. It was delicious! The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The aircon worked very well and the bathroom was great. In general, it’s was all exceptionally clean and tidy.
−I can’t think of one thing that I didn’t like. It was, in my opinion, absolutely outstanding.

8.0“Great location in Bukara but not sure it's value for money”
+Usman heritage was a unique property in the area and I guess unlike many of the regular tourist hotels. The host and his wife were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. The house was located very close to the main area of Bukara, a short walk through an alleyway undergoing renovation all around but it was always safe. There are very few rooms available here which might explain the very high cost of the rooms compared to other hotels in the area. We stayed in granny's library on the first floor. The room was comfortable and the shower was the best we had in Uzbekistan
−WE just couldn't work out why it was SO much more expensive than other hotels - way above the general cost so i can't really say it was value for money. The room was the smallest we had during our trip - not really anywhere for clothes storage. It advertised a balcony - we assumed this would be an area to sit out on but it was really just the stairway to the room so we were a bit confined to sitting on the bed in our room. If you needed the sofa bed for a third person it would be very tight! we used it to throw our clothes on!

+This is a true gem for ones who prefer an uncrowded ancient house with great hosts. Unfortunately had to fly. Will be back.

10.0“A rich experience with charming hosts”
+We had an exceptional stay for 4 nights. The location is perfect, in a quiet alleyway 5 minutes walk from Lyabi Hauz, the focal point of town. Umin has transformed his family home into a lovely little boutique hotel. He has paid particular attention to getting all the details right, both in the decor of the place and with high quality practical matters - fast internet, back up systems for power and water etc. Breakfast is served in a charming room and was by far the best we had in Uzbekistan, cooked fresh, different every day and carefully tailored to the tastes of the individual guests. Best of all Umin speaks fluent English and is fascinating to talk to about his family history and Bukhara generally. His wife, Gulshan, also speaks fluent English as well as Japanese. It was an uplifting experience to stay with these lovely people.
−All good

10.0“Charming boutique hotel in the city center!”
+I had a fantastic two days stay at Usman Heritage! Highly recommend. Umid and his wife were really welcoming even before my arrival and had everything ready for my late arrival. They converted their beautiful family home in a cosy and charming small boutique hotel in Buhkara’s city center, where small details are taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and with everything you need, including proper air conditional and cold water, very important when you have high temperatures. The rooms are real clean, which is highly appreciated à The homemade Breakfast was also a highlight, real products, perfectly prepared by Unid’s wife and served in a very nice living room, as well as a breakfast box for my last day and I left early in the morning. But most importantly Umid and his family hospitality speaks by itself, as well as their values, conversations and hard work; and they speak very good English which makes everything easier. Definetly the best hotel I’ve been to in Uzbekistan. Thank you very much, rahmat, Umid and family! ☺️
−Nothing, I would definitely come back!
