“Normal to good experience, but some things may go not as expected”
+The location is good. The beds are okay and you get almost everything you need for a normal stay. The disadvantages are written below, but the good sides definitely are more prominent. The check in and check out is a little complicated as there is no reception, but even though it's a bit stressful, it gets done if you tell them everything in advance. We are thanking the host for the stay and for the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Budapest.
−The bad thing was that the host didn't check properly the heating, and 3 out of 4 people got sick because of cold. Next day they fixed it, but still it was very unfortunate. But I think it was a one time mistake, so I wouldn't hold it against them. Overall it was a good experience, but I guess we were just lucky with the guests. If there would be some troubling people it could have gone worse as you can't really close the room you're in, there is one room which is not private at all and everyone goes through it, there are only lockers that you have to take a lock for with yourself or buy one which they don't tell you in advance. They require a deposit in case something is stolen, so why are they afraid lockers would get stolen and the same logic doesn't apply to towels for example? I see from the owner's responses that they are trying to be reasonable and justify their truth, but sometimes the look from the outside is important, so I'm kindly advising to listen to the constructive feedback. These issues shouldn't hold you from choosing this apartment, in my opinion, and maybe even those issues be fixed in the future, at least I hope so.

+The apartment itself was good and comfortable, but unfortunately, our arrival was a bit of a drama. It took us around 45 minutes to find the place because there was no clear name or sign on the gate or street. We were guided by a lady over the phone who was based in the UK, but the instructions were not very clear. We also didn't receive a proper call or message to help us find the exact entrance. After about 45 minutes, someone finally came to us and asked, “Are you the guests?” 😅 What surprised us was that we were not the only ones. We spoke with other guests, and they told us they had experienced the same problem when arriving. Apart from the check-in/arrival issue, the apartment itself was good. But the location and arrival instructions really need to be improved. Clear signage and better communication with guests would make the experience much easier.

“Nicht zu empfehlen, düster und unseriös.”
−Die Unterkunft wirkte düster und unseriös. Die Möblierung war eher provisorisch und das vermeintliche 4-Bettzimmer war nur ein Durchgangszimmer zu einem weiteren Schlafsaal. Zentral gelegen, aber kein schöner Ort um in Budapest anzukommen.

−La promiscuité dans les chambre, la vétusté de l'immeuble, et un appartement pas très clean. Difficile de trouver l'immeuble et l'appartement. On a attendu 15 min pour que quelqu'un vienne à nous. Personnel pas agréable
