“For the purpose I arrived was manageable”
+the view from the balcony was great. Stuff were very friendly. The extra service such as airport transfer was also great. Islam the driver was exceptional!
−The bathroom was falling apart. There was dust in the bathroom. The shower head was broken. There was not hot water. On the images things looked better.

“Good location and view”
+The location was good! Walking distance to grand museum approx 15min walk Easy for uber pickup and drop off Good views of the pyramid from the balcony rooftop The owners were friendly and checked in on us! The breakfast was freshly made every morning but became a bit repetitive
−The shower was atrocious! There was trickles of water coming out from the shower head! The bed was uncomfortable and very hard! The signage was misleading- it said unique pyramid view hotel but booking was for unique pyramid boutique inn and both had different reviews but same address! The hotel was also on level 5 and we didn’t know because there were no signs and we got lost coming in. We were delayed by a day to check in so they had given away our room to another couple and they had to kick them out when we rocked up!

+First of all- location: I have been to Cairo a few times, and you do need to think about location. Giza is so far from the centre of the capital if you're spending some days around the pyramids and the GEM (it took me two days to look around) you need to stay in Giza to save spending hours in taxis. This has a great location- about 15 minutes to walk back from GEM (one big road to cross but cross it where the share taxis are) or 10 minute uber ride. I walked through a residential area to the sphinx exit of the pyramids in about 35 minutes, though you need an uber for the main, new entrance. Places to eat around the hotel, and a nice coffee shop on the top floor. There's a petrol station just below for cold drinks and snacks. My room had great pyramid views from all windows and the spa bath was a fun touch, though quite a tight squeeze! Excellent AC too which is needed! Huge bed as well. I enjoyed the breakfast- pretty much the same everyday - mix of cheese, breads, fuul (bean stew), and some fried falafel type things. I found there was more than enough. The open air balcony had great pyramid views too I recommend to book the airport pick up- maybe cost more than uber, but Mr Islam
−You're not paying for Mena House, so don't expect the decoration to be luxury or there always will be someone at reception who speaks perfect English Bring ear plugs- it is a big city so cars drive by all night and the dogs like to bark at 3am!

+View of the two largest pyramids was exceptional, especially from the spa bath room. A.C. worked well. Breakfast was good.
−Not really a problem for me, but there was no daily cleaning.
