+The family feel The location was great, trams take you almost everywhere. The size of the family apartment.
−Doubled the price to add an extra night to the week we had already paid for (this was in advance) There was no guarantee of parking for a taller vehicle, when mentioned to staff they stated its deep in the fine print. Not too happy to have a $120k vehicle just out in the open

“It was ok. The kids enjoyed it.”
+Kids facilities, although older were good.
−Having to pay for towels and putt putt on top of our expense of the room. No garbage bags, hardly any toilet paper or amenities

“all in all we enjoyed our stay”
+really great for the kids, my son loved the pools and the splash zone. it rained a lot while we were there so couldn’t take advantage of the mini golf but there was plenty to keep the kids entertained fully contained apartment allowed us to cook meals most nights for the 5 of us and dishwasher made cleanup a breeze great location with tram stop right out the front of the resort and woolies, cafe and butcher all within a short walking distance. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
−main bathroom was pretty much unusable, sliding shower screen was broken and the shower head was very difficult the get consistent flow from. We ended up just using the ensuite. We also had a lot of cockroaches, particularly coming from under the sink

“Great resort for parents with kids. Beautiful gardens and swimming pools around the resort. Great friendly staff. Very w”
+We always love staying at turtle beach resort. As a parent it’s great with the splash zone for the kids and mini golf and cinema and games room for the kids.
−The only think I’d have to say that lets the score go down is that the bathrooms need to get a renovation. We had shower doors that fall off the hinges when sliding them across and no exhaust fans in any bathrooms.

“Would come back!”
+The location and having the tram right at the front that goes directly to surfers was amazing. The pools were clean and so many that it was never crowded and the splash park was super fun. Rooms were big and spacious plenty of room for my ex and our kids to have our own rooms while co parenting on holiday together without being too much.
−I didnt like that booking.com advertised that there was an activity room without mentioning it costs 30 dollars. I hyped up my kids about a play room that we can go into when we are bored or over the pool to find out when there it is a kids club and only at certain times and was 30 dollars and I think that was per child which is insane! That really annoyed me as it was one of the main reasons we chose turtle beach resort. I didnt like that the golf course around the place also cost, ive stayed at caravan parks with put putt courses that are free you just hire the stuff to play so they have your details should you decide to steal it or lose it. The worst part was no elevators! Carting a family of 5s worth of stuff up and down stairs was a nightmare and we also had a double pram that we took when out and about and having to constantly bring that up and down was horrendous. Cafe was okay but 14 bucks for a small bowl of fries is actually just a joke. Issues we could have bought up to staff but didnt because it disnt bother us enough and we spent most of our days out and about: The wifi didnt work The DVD player was missing a hdmi cord to watch DVDs The bedroom remote had no batteries

“It was nice but we probably wouldn’t stay again”
+Great set up for kids
−Very dated and they do like to charge for a lot - make the most out of parents having to pay things

+Kids loved the pools and being able to be in them for hours on end. The rooms were spacious and having two bathrooms was awesome.
−The rooms and facilities in the rooms were very dated. Our en suite shower door did not close properly so water saturated the bath mat every time we showered. The roll out bed thay my son slept on was rock hard.

“Extremely disappointed and let down by the attitude of the staff”
+Had good pools, spacious apartment, tidy facilities
−The Staff came across rude and failed to assist in helping resolve issues, no internet, partner locked out and refused to help, had an issue on departure and were not helpful, out of convenience for not moving hotels attempted to extend stay and was given a price $300 more than advertised online
