7.0“Enjoyable stay especially with a dog!”
+Lovely room and facilities are really good . Lots of beautiful walks near along the canal and surrounding countryside. Dog park on site and equestrian facilities. Breakfast was lovely!
−Cold at night in the room and couldn’t turn up the heating. Green H&S light on all night in the room which disturbed my sleep . Breakfast very late at 10am especially as you have to leave by 10am

9.0“Enjoyed the location”
+The bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom was excellent and the room was very clean.
−I wasn't aware that there wouldn't be a TV in the room. Maybe i missed that in the details

5.0“Nice location and clean room with a comfortable bed but unfortunately wouldn’t return due to the issues above.”
+Room was really lovely, all bedding and towels were very fresh and clean and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Was a nice touch to have flapjacks in the entryway for an arrival snack and water was provided for each guest in the communicable fridge. Dog treat and water bowl was given for each dog we took which was friendly.
−Unfortunately there’s a green laser like light on the ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom which lights up the whole room all night and makes it very difficult to sleep. The Windows won’t open more than an inch and are on the floor of the bedroom which meant getting fresh cool air in was near impossible. We booked with our dogs as this is advertised as dog friendly but after booking and paying the advertised fee we were then asked to pay an additional sum for each dog we were bringing. Fair enough if this was advertised pre booking but it wasn’t and isn’t standard, I have booked many dog friendly places and taken my dogs with and never had to pay an additional cost after. Breakfast was nice, menu was good but it took over an hour to come. Communication was a little disappointing having shared I didn’t think it was right to pay a secondary sum after booking a dog friendly place and this wasn’t removed. Also post booking were told we weren’t allowed to leave the dogs unattended in the room at all, even In a crate. I was staying for my Grandads 90th round the corner for an afternoon tea at a church and even after explaining it would be for a short period and both dogs would be in their

9.0“Nice quiet place to stay and relax. Be ready for no TV!”
+Breakfast was very nice and tasty but a little frustrating to wait until 10:00am. We understood this for the days we booked and it gave us chance to lie in but this would not have suited if we'd had a busy agenda.
−The bed was not the most comfortable we've experienced

10.0+The facilities in and around the barn were perfect for anyone with a dog! We didn't use the field as we didn't realise this was on the farm and extra, but we will be trying to align next bookings to use the doggy field.
−Missed a TV but meant we had an early night!

9.0“Great location for our one night stay near to Rugeley. Will book again if in the area”
+Rural location just outside Rugeley. Canal less than 100 yds outside property which is great for dog walking along the tow path. Very clean and well laid out . Brilliant ensuite with very powerful hot shower
−Not able to get breakfast till 10.00. Coming back in the dark we had a problem in getting the entry gate to operate

9.0“An idyllic location away from the town in the most immaculate accommodation.”
+The location was perfect for a quiet area and gave us peace of mind as we were travelling on motorcycles that allowed us to park out of site on a secured yard. We arrived early evening and everything was ready when we arrived with our key in the door. The rooms don’t have fridges however there is a small fridge in the entrance where fresh milk is available. If you do have portable media then take it as there are no TV’s in the rooms but this is minor considering the effort that has gone into providing an immaculate too to stay.
−Neighbouring room occupants didn’t seem to care about the noise they were making when they arrived late evening. I came out of the room in the morning with poo bags for the two Dachshunds that stayed in the room with them which adds to the lack of consideration that have for others or the effort that has gone into providing an immaculate barn conversion by our hosts.

9.0“Perfect for a short stay or mini break!”
+Absolutely loved our stay - the barn is beautiful, and our room even more so. The exposed beams were a major selling point for us as it gave the rooms such a charm. The welcome cakes were such a lovely treat, and we appreciated the fresh milk and bottled water on offer. Considering the price, this was a lovely option for our overnight stay, and we would deffo come again (we wish we could've tried the onsite cafe for breakfast as that to looked lovely!)
−Please don't read this as a negative to the hotel, just a small suggestion - perhaps adding a small bathroom bin?

6.0“Breakfast timings not clear on booking.com”
+Good location, very clean and tidy, smart room decor and good level of facilities. Bedding very soft and clean and comfy. Great staff cater for dietary requirements, great cake!!
−Cooked breakfast not served until 10am in the cafe (not the fault of the venue, lack of detail on booking.com), shower was cold, green LED for the emergency lights very bright at night, room was very hot
