“Don’t book if you plan on checking in late”
+Great location , lively area and close to the bus station.
−After paying in advance, we were told about late check-in fees: €15 from 20:00-22:00 and €25 from 22:00-00:00. I’ve traveled a lot and never seen this before, especially when the room is already paid for the full day. The policy also doesn’t explain what happens if a guest arrives after midnight, which leaves people uncertain. An automatic check-in would solve this issue. Also, the ceiling is very low and gives a claustrophobic feeling.

“Well worth the money.”
+Very convenient location, nicely furnished. The owner was very lovely and gave me many wonderful tips for my stay in Catania.
−If you’re sharing the bathroom with the other room as I did, you can hear nearly everything.

+Apatnam is excellent, clean and in the center of Catanja. Mirjana is a wonderful host, she is there to help us and is always available. We have never had such a kind host.

“Cosy room in Catania city centre”
+The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The AC in the room worked perfectly. The location was in the city centre in a walkable distance of everything that is important in Catania. The host was very responsive to our questions. The host arranged earlier check-in on our request.
−The shower was a bit narrow but still functional. The only remark was that the garbage wasn't taken out during our stay and we didn't get instructions where we could throw it ourselves. The b&b in the title was a little misleading since we thought we would get a breakfast, but there were snacks.
