+I really liked the motel and our room was great and the guests next door were super friendly, and as far as availability the staff was GREAT. My only complaint was regarding my sweet perfectly groomed, perfectly mannered, trained Shih tzu. I NEVER book a room that is not listed as allowing pets. This motel does list PET-FRIENDLY, so I didn’t think anything of it. Thank God my mom mentioned the dog as we were checking in because otherwise, we would have been charged a “NOT REPORTING” fee of 100 dollars. Maybe the manager doesn’t realize that the motel is listed as PET FRIENDLY and that there is no way to add a pet to the check in page so that the 20 dollar nightly fee is added to the reservation $total? Bc the reaction, questions, and comments from the manager gave me the strong impression that I had done something wrong. Maybe she didn’t mean to make me feel this way but it IS how I ended up feeling. She said she would waive the deposit or whatever she called it (I’m not sure if she was referring to the 20 dollar fee that I didn’t know about or the 100 dollar fee for not reporting my pet. I only learned of both fees while reading in full the “responsible for damages” thing I had to

+Property was really run down outside but the rooms were all freshly redone and they're trying real hard to fix it up.
