+Very disappointing and upsetting experience at Relax Hut, Trincomalee.
−We booked this hotel for two nights, but unfortunately our experience was extremely bad. Before checking in, I had lost my wallet and no longer had access to my cards. I explained the situation to the staff and told them that I would receive money through Western Union the following morning. However, the next day was a Poya holiday, so Western Union was closed. Later that day, I arranged for a Sri Lankan friend to bring me the money. Instead of giving us reasonable time to resolve the situation, the staff became extremely hostile and involved the police. What made the situation even worse was that they interfered in a private disagreement between me and my girlfriend. While I was not there, they questioned my girlfriend about where I was from and what my nationality was. After learning this, we felt that their attitude toward us changed and that we were treated differently because I am a foreigner. The police also seemed to take the hotel’s side rather than treating the situation fairly. At around 3 AM, we were forced to leave the hotel. We had nowhere else to go at that hour, so we had to take all our luggage and stay at the railway station until around 7:30 AM, and then spend sev

+L’accès à la plage était proche bien qu’il fallait repasser par la rue principale. Le lit était assez grand.

“Prachtig”
+We hebben genoten van de prachtige tuin en de ontzettend lieve en behulpzame hostess. Heerlijk chillen in een hangmat midden in alle rust. Vlakbij Coral Beach waar bijna niemand is. Dit is een baai en dus geen golven. Prima dus met kinderen op de minder hete momenten van de dag. Hiervandaan hebben we een fantastische ervaring geboekt bij het krokodillenmeer in de buurt.
−Het is weliswaar afgelegen, maar dat kun je ook zien als een voordeel. Even weg uit alle hectiek.

“À éviter si vous cherchez du confort”
+L’emplacement : pas d’accès direct à la plage il faut marcher 10 minutes mais c’est relativement proche. La literie. La climatisation.
−Nous avons très mal dormi. Présence de cafards, de grenouilles dans la salle de bain. Les équipements sont rouillés il n’y a aucune aération dans la salle de bain où il fait une chaleur étouffante et une odeur nauséabonde. Nous nous sommes plaints plusieurs fois des cafards on nous a promis de mettre du spray ce qui n’est jamais arrivé. Plusieurs coupures de courant. Et une fois la salle de bain s’est bloquée de l’intérieur… Et nous avions commandé un plat qui a mis une heure à être préparé pour que ce ne soit pas ce que nous avions demandé. Bref décevant.

+Отличный отель, который превзошел все ожидания! Пребывание здесь оставило исключительно положительные эмоции и желание вернуться снова. Невероятно вежливые, отзывчивые и дружелюбные сотрудники, готовые помочь по первому запросу. Заселили намного раньше положенного времени без каких-либо доплат и проволочек. Очень удачное место, откуда легко добраться до главных достопримечательностей и инфраструктуры. Прекрасный пляж в шаговой доступности. Превосходное соотношение цены и качества, однозначно рекомендую этот отель для проживания.

+Ansich sehr schön und gute Lage ca 10 min zum Strand. Die Zimmer sind etwas dunkel und extrem hellhörig, weswegen man alles der Nachbarn hörte, was uns beim Schlafen störte. Das Duschwasser hatte leider zunächst einen unangenehmen Geruch.
