“The staff and owners were super friendly and extremely accommodating."”
+The hotel is located inside a grand, highly historic building right in front of a spacious plaza and a beautiful church. The surrounding area is packed with great restaurants and shopping centers, making it extremely convenient and fun to explore. Although the hotel has a cozy, limited number of rooms, the owners and staff were remarkably kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. Location & Transportation Tips: Airport to Hotel: About 45 minutes by taxi (Recommend taking the official white taxis, approx. €55) Hotel to Colosseum: About 15 minutes by taxi (approx. €15) Hotel to Vatican Museums: About 15 minutes by taxi (approx. €15) Hotel to Cruise Port (Civitavecchia): About 1.5 hours by taxi (approx. €150)

“Not a good experience. Would not stay there again”
+Nice property, good location. However we ran into a situation with the property. We were texted by the owner of the hotel,that they had a cancellation and we could upgrade the room for extra charge. He met us when we arrived. He did stipulate that the person may decide to stay the next day. They did say that they would move the room for us if this occurred due to the fact that we had prearranged tickets for the Vatican an other venues. The next morning as we were leaving for the Vatican the front desk told us that we had to stay until the other guest checked out of our room. This was not the agreement. Needless to say the young man at the front desk was beyond rude. We ended up having to pack the room and store our luggage. We were not going to be back to the hotel until late and it ended up being a very disturbing experience. We had to call the owner of the hotel to have it sorted out. Very unpleasant experience and it made the start to Rome feel very bad. We were uncomfortable at the facility the entire time because of it. Nice room but mold in the shower.

“Rome, just as you would imagine!”
+The hotel is half a block from the the Piazza del Popolo, so for our first time in Rome the location was enchanting. The room was a nice size and the batrhoom was large and well equiped. We received two fresh water bottles in our refrigerator every day and their was iced water in the lobby. The view out the front window looked down on the pedistrian street below and you could see the bussling piazza just down the street.
−Unlike a hotel this was a suites, so the lobby was only attended to from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, which was not an issue for us. But one evening another couple was trying to check in at 5:45 p.m. and the lobby attendant had already left, so this can be an issue. Be prepared with the WhatApp phone number to reach for assistance.

“Truly marvellous stay”
+When we booked this, we did not realise it was a small property with 6 rooms. But Antonio , the owner made us feel so welcome. Both he and Gianni helped us with all our requests including holding our bags for 2 nights when we came to Florence. The location is absolutely amazing, right off Peoples Square and walking distance from the Spanish steps, the Trevi fountain and the metro station. The property has an old heritage charm to it. There are awesome eating places nearby and the entire vibe is truly amazing. The Borghese gardens are very near and we got a spectacular view of the sunset.
−The room did not have much of a view but that is okay since we did not spend too much time in the room.

−If you’re sensitive to noise, I recommend booking a room with windows that don’t face the main street or square, as it can get quite loud.
