+Lovely hostel in Bled. The host was fantastic with information and resources. Well equipped kitchen and facilities around the house. Even got some complementary pasta and sauces being near end of season when I was there - fantastic for carb loading on a hiking holiday. As everyone was there for the same reason, I experienced no issues with noise of a night and people leaving for sunrise hikes were really considerate and ensured they were organised so minimal noise/light of a morning for those still sleeping - lovely respect and common sense. Rooms are on the smaller size but still big enough for those in it and their belongings.

“Loved it here! Was a social hostel without partying which I loved! Felt like a home away from home”
+Colleen is an amazing host. She took me to the doctors when I was sick and was always around to make sure everyone and everything was ok. The place is in a great location just a short walk from the main bus stop and the lake. Everything was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with curtains which were great.
−The kitchen got a bit crowded at peak meal time but I just cooked my food in advance to avoid chaos so it was ok!

+This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Colleen is a fabulous host: cheerful, incredibly helpful and always offering a good piece of advice. If you are looking for a place where you can have a good night sleep and at the same time socialise and make new friends - look no further. The hostel has everything you might need and, compared to other places I had been to, the beds are really comfy. After five nights here, I am sad to leave but taking some great memories with me. Thank you for everything, Colleen!
−It was all great.

“Colleen…the woman…the myth…the Legend 😘”
+Colleen is a LEGEND! Super helpful and accommodating, tries to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The beds offer a nice privacy curtain and beds are quite comfortable. Easy to meet other travelers in a chill and social environment.

“Excellent!”
+The atmosphere of the place was incredible. Colleen managed to create a warm environment where l felt very comfortable and welcomed. It felt more like staying in a shared home than in a typical hostel. Everything was well-maintained. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Colleen is always ready to help you with your itinerary or anything else. I highly recommend this hostel.
−Just a few things to improve: noisy AC, add lockers in the rooms and more room to hang your stuff in the bathroom

“A refuge when desperately required!”
+A haven in time of need
−Top bunk, squeaky, cold and smelly room, crowded and cramped communal spaces
