−Confusing deposit and access messages. It was basic and run down but passable.

−Building felt unsafe, person downstairs was screaming at someone when we entered, shared bathroom had no toilet roll and there was a massive gap in the door so someone could easily peep through with full view of the toilet, flicking lights, TV had no cable, random kettle in the corner of the room, no cups or anything with it, creepy cubby hole in the room with work supplies and toilets shoved in it, bedroom door had gaps all the way round, wasnt very secure, could of easily been opened with a hard push, was in there for about 10 minutes before finding somewhere else to stay and was refused a refund for the 2 nights I had booked. Be careful what you book. Pictures mean nothing!

−There are no blinds at the window. Few canvasses around but not hanged on the walls . No mirror in the room,and that it's a must.

“Replace doors > guests feel safe enough”
+It was cheap, clean and near the comicon we were travelling for. The microwave and fridge were a nice surprise.
−The 2 disconcerting things were that the Doors! The door to the bath room that is shared by the guests in the building was on a sliding rail set a good cm or 2 away from the door frame, so if you glance in the left side of the door, when it's shut, you can clearly fully see the entire toilet and on the right side the shower cubical. They were adequately clean but not adequately private. But no doubt highly appealing to the voyeurs out there. The door to our room had clearly been kicked in & practically broken in half at some point in the past it had boot toe holes on the outside and a huge cracks across the door (see pics) given the rooms are located in the most dangerous, high crime rate area of the city, this was genuinely disturbing, but we as a group of young people laughed it off, affectionatly called the place 'The Crack Den' & honestly enjoyed our stay it was quite the experience. I have to admit iv I'd been traveling with my female friends they would not have felt safe enough to have stayed because of the violated state of the door to our room. The TV did not work, we personally didn't care about this.
