“Excellent small luxury hotel with easy access to the sights”
+Spacious, comfortable premium rooms with excellent bathrooms in an upscale hotel in a safe, quiet street 10 mins walk from a stop on Istanbul’s tram network that takes you directly to the main tourist attractions while being away from the noisy, hectic, highly touristy Sultanahmet area. Good Turkish breakfast in the rooftop restaurant with tremendous views over the Bosphorus. Friendly, helpful staff.
−We would have liked a bedside table on either side of the bed instead of just one side. Although the room was mostly very quiet, one night was interrupted by noisy wailing from cats in the courtyard - to be fair I think this is probably common in Istanbul as there are a lot of stray cats. The property is on a steep hill, so it would not be easy for people with limited mobility to reach on foot.

“Great and luxurious!”
+We really loved staying at this property and highly recommended and would eagerly stay again! The building itself is historical and has many comfortable common areas. The upstairs restaurant Café area where we had breakfast has great pocket views of the city and the Boss for us straight. The breakfast itself was extravagant and wonderful with custom and a very high level of service. The rooms were large given that they are suites and extremely comfortable and well appointed. All of the team members were extremely responsive, and the service was excellent. Also, the neighborhood is really enjoyable with lots of things to see a short walking distance away.
−The temperature control system is rather centralized, which is common in many parts of Europe. This wasn’t a problem for us once we were able to open our windows. It is just something to keep in mind but not a negative. In addition, the property is right across the street from a school. This means that sometimes there may be noise in the morning. It didn’t bother us at all with the earplugs and frankly we like having the kids around. Again, we would happily stay here again! It was great.

+Everything! From the smoothest check-in and check-out I’ve ever experienced to the incredibly attentive and polite staff. They were kind enough to let us check in much earlier after a long day of travelling (and a room upgrade!), which we really appreciated. Breakfast was a fantastic Turkish spread, and I’ll never forget how the breakfast staff greeted us by our first names as soon as we stepped onto the rooftop. Such a lovely personal touch. Very impressed with the whole experience and can’t wait to come back again!

+We had a delightful stay at Tomtom Suites. We very much appreciated its location on a quiet street and in a neighborhood with many good restaurants and interesting shops. The staff at Reception and in the restaurant were always welcoming and were dedicated to making our stay an excellent one. Afternoon tea was delicious, and a great way to meet and chat with other guests. The room was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh fruits, delicious yoghurt, and breads as well as Turkish specialties. The view from the restaurant is spectacular, too,a great way to start a long day of seeing the sites in Istanbul.
