“Nice hotel in a great location”

+Clean and on a quite road. Location was very good. The lady was very helpful in accommodating our slightly earlier arrival and in looking after our bags for a few hours on our departure.
−The air con unit was a bit small for the room I think and only went down to 19°C. It took a very long time for the room temperature to come down when we'd get back to the room. Breakfast was OK but we weren't told that we could order some simple cooked options. We spotted a small breakfast menu on the side on our last day and asked, to be told that we could! Frustrating as we would of ordered something on the previous days, rather than settling for cooked meat and cheese, if this had been explained at check in or when we had our first breakfast. Even if the menu had been placed on the table. They also ran out of bread one morning, so we didn't have enough for us both and we had to ask for yoghurts on one day (they had been put out the first day).

+Location was incredible! We were going to the Wednesday Papal audience and it was SO convenient being so closely located.
−Communication wasn't super quick. Didn't fully read the room selection and was a little tricked that the "King room" doesn't have a king bed. That's more on me though!

“Close to the Vatican but otherwise unremarkable and not great value for money.”
+We had some hiccups on arrival that the hotel manager quickly resolved. The place is safe and secure,
−The amenities are a little dated and it locks some modern feel. The breakfast sadly was quite far and not good despite the people being very nice.

+This was amazing! The location is just perfect. Svetlana helped with any issues. The rooms were clean, the towels had been changed in time.

“Location is perfect for St Peter’s Square”
+The location cannot be beat if your aim is the Vatican. It is literally 3 buildings from Saint Peter’s Basilica! It is part of a big possibly historic building, but the location was perfect for me!

+The location was fantastic.
−The staff were not very friendly. The last breakfast was poor as only had eggs to make something hot. The dining room was also awfully hot. Asked for early check in for 9am and they approved it. But when my sister arrived they advised her the room wasn’t ready and she couldn’t check into after 1pm. She could leave her luggage there though. It was 37 degrees and she had to sit out in the heat after a 27 hour flight. The staff then told me the early check in was only for luggage.. this wasn’t want I wanted approved 😡

−L'heure du petit-déjeuner n'est pas avant 8H00 et nous devions quitter souvent plus tôt pour les visites. Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être plus varié.

+Die Lage, die Unterkunft an sich waren außergewöhnlich.
−Das Personal war unterirdisch, unfreundlich, faul und zu „schön“ , um zu arbeiten. Beim Frühstück kam man sich wie ein Bittsteller vor, wenn man nach einem weiteren Kaffee oder Tee fragte. Es gab kein Obst und nur sporadisch Joghurts. Das Bad wurde in 11 Tagen zweimal gereinigt und die benutzen Handtücher gerade zweimal gewechselt. Wollte man sicherstellen, ausreichend Toilettenpapier zu haben, musste man erst fragen oder Selbstinitiative ergreifen.
