“Not a motel”
+We did not stay at this property. We did not realise that it was private accommodation and not a motel. It was located in a residential area away from shopping centres. We had booked for two nights but decided to leave and stay another motel instead. We accepted that we should pay for the first evening but requested a refund for the second night. This request was denied.

“House Accommodation versus Motel”
+It was very peaceful, the bed was comfortable. Very nice scenery from my room. Bathroom was great. The hosts were pleasant. Very close to coles, maccas etc If you just want a place to crash for the night it is very comfortable.
−The front garden needed to be weeded. The room is upstairs, hope you like stairs. They jammed to much furniture into the room. Need to reconfigure it. The lounge area was comfortable but they only had a small TV to watch, in this day and age should have been bigger. I think next time I will book a motel, you have control over heating air conditioning etc.

“Think twice if you want to book it.”
−Owner did communicate with us about check-in despite of numerous requests. We waisted several hours and had to find new accommodation.

“Great location and facilities”
+Great location. Friendly and clear communication. Everything was in accordance with the description. The walking track right next to house meant some morning walking.
−Unfortunately, I stayed on a particularly hot night and while there is a air circulation system evident, I did struggle to get to sleep.

−A few items missing in the kitchen nook. No running water, no cutlery, little crockery, but what was there was excellent.

+I did not realise this was a shared private home. I would have preferred a private motel room. A little unclear from advertisement but when I went deep into review I could see references to this.
−Not private. No real kitchen facilities. But we made do.
