“Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing due to the uncomfortable beds, poor bathroom hygiene, unpleasant smells, and to”
+The location was convenient, but unfortunately, the condition of the room and bathroom was disappointing.
−There were too many stairs, and they were very long and difficult to climb. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the mattresses were so worn out that my body sank into them, causing discomfort for my back. The bathroom was not clean and lacked basic necessities, such as toilet paper. There were also unpleasant smells coming from both the room and the bathroom. Overall, the cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance of the property were very poor.

“Had people stay in the room that didn’t belong there. Staff kicked them out at 5am. Nothing is clean”
−Everything. Absolute shithole. Don’t book here

+The hostel was fairly priced and located in a great spot in central Rotterdam, next to many options for shopping and dining. I was warmly greeted and check-in/check out were both easy processes. I also appreciated that the showers had plenty of room.
−I did not mind the stairs at all, but I think it is good to let folks know that the stairway is rather narrow and steep. If you need help getting your luggage up, a staff member should be happy to help, which is what I experienced. However, on October 12 at 5 pm, I was very startled by abusive yelling and screaming on the top floor that trailed down the stairs. From the sound of it, someone might have been trying to remove a non-guest who was crashing there. However, abusive verbal behavior is extremely inexcusable, and violates the rules of being respectful and quiet. No one should have to hear that on any floor. There are ways to act like an adult and remove troublemakers without battering other people's ears.
